I like gargoyles. Or what we now call gargoyles colloquially.
These little guys. The decorations on the sides of old gothic cathedrals?:
They actually aren't gargoyles? Fun fact. They're call grotesques. Gargoyles, strictly speaking were the water structures like these:
And I like them both. But y'know. It's a bit harder to 'collect' figures and figurines that double as water fixtures unless you can invest into fountains so uh...lol. I guess we sort of just started calling all of these things gargoyles. I mean they all look pretty grotesque, right? They're also kind of beautiful in their own way. The history of gothic architecture is all very rich and interesting.
And when I had/have the money I do like to buy a tiny gargoyle decoration now and then.
Moxxie adopted his rescue cat Trill some time back, even before he met Millie. If I had to place a time, it would probably be shortly after he and Blitz broke out of prison and he needed a support animal to help me recover from the heartbreak of Chaz's betrayal and because he knew he wasn't going back to his 'Family.' All of that is A LOT to decide at once. Not to mention the trauma of dealing with it.
The cat is a rescue and missing an eye. It's also a hairless sphinx and looks real 'funny' so he knew nobody else was going to take it in because people were laughing at it and one impling was scared of it. So he instantly picked him.
He likes (loves) his cat because they have an instant bond and understanding.
Millie finds DIY crafts and arts super relaxing and is definitely the type of person who would join those little groups of people who are into that if she had more free time.
