Like most teenagers, the thing Araña hated the most about summer was that it ended. Some of her classmates might be eager to return, but she half-dreaded it. She knew that a good amount of her time was going to be spent in detention, and possibly cost her her place as drummer in Operetta’s band. This thought hung over the arachnid’s head like a storm cloud as she trudged up the steps to the front door of the school. Then, out of the corner of four eyes, she noticed something. She turned her head, thinking it was possibly a shiny object she might ‘borrow’ and add to her collection. As it turned out, it was not. It was what appeared to be another ghoul with...four arms? This made the spider’s face break out in a beaming grin, and she immediately bee lined for this new student.

“Hey, you’re new!” She greeted, noting with some glee that this stranger also had multiple eyes. Finally, she thought, someone with my same weird attributes that isn’t Wyndowna! “I’m Araña, what’s your name?”
