Lunar Cove, RI- Katherine Hensley, beloved waitress at Peggy's Diner, not-so-professional prankster and self-proclaimed Queen of the Comic Book Nerds, met her untimely demise at exactly 2.46 a.m. the morning of February 15th. Cause of death? A severe case of werewolf. Yes, you read that right. Our dear Kitty was savagely yeeted off this mortal coil by none other than Dr. Damien Blake, a lycanthropic menace and rival Alpha who also met his demise in a challenge against our resident Alpha, Nicolás Castillo (though that death was rather timely).
Born with the gift of sarcasm, Kitty spent her days slinging hash and coffee to the good people of Lunar Cove while perfecting the fine art of the well-timed practical joke. She was known in the comic book community as Shadowcat, a nickname she earned both for her ability to disappear from work mid-shift and her obsession with X-Men. She frequently lamented that she did not, in fact, possess actual phasing powers but made do with a quick wit, fast reflexes, and an uncanny ability to dodge responsibility.
An official memorial will be held this Saturday at her parents place where individuals can comfort each other, decked head-to-toe in black. While, the unofficial memorial will be held at Peggy's, the next Saturday, where friends and family are encouraged to share their best Kitty pranks, eat an unreasonable amount of pie, and pour one out for their fallen jokester. Rest in mischief, Shadowcat. May your pranks be legendary and your comic books always bagged and boarded.
As residents returned home from the memorial, however, three of them discovered small presents, wrapped in brown parchment paper and tied together with a white string, on their doorsteps. Each came with a note attached that read-
Greetings. The experiment continues. Tell anyone about this note or the contents of this gift and your love one will pay the price. Inside you will find a syringe similar to the one you were given at the dance. You should be well aware by now that the effects of the syringe will only be temporary. You may use the syringe at any point you'd like, but it is for your use alone or else. Good luck. Lumen deorum in manibus mortalium.
Song, Ben & Todd all receive these packages with syringes in them with the ominous note making it clear that whoever is toying with them's experiments are far from over...

While, Kitty is no longer here, the character is still Virginia’s, so please plot with Virginia still if you decide to have your character attend the funeral/say goodbye.
The event is officially over! Feel free to return to your regularly scheduled threads. As for new members, we typically hold longer events than this than span a while across the dash, but as per our existing members votes, we decided to have it be the discord party and these few plot drop posts this time around.
For the council: We will be holding a Council meeting in the coming weeks to chat through everything that has gone down/will be HC things in the Council GC for a follow up post that will be made in terms of the Council discussion. But, for now, focus on your IC threads.
For the three residents: For now, your character is in possession of a mysterious syringe similar to the ones at the dance. You will not know what temporary ability the syringe will grant you until used. When you are ready to have your character use the syringe, please message us via a ticket or the main for further instructions. Likewise, if your character does not want to use the syringe, but tell someone about it, endangering their loved one, please message us via a ticket or the main for further instructions.

RECAP OF THE DISCORD PARTY
They entered the Underwater Observatory. Dancing and drinks where had by a number of guests.
The best PromProposal winning a date at the hideaway that is tailored specifically for you by our event planner, Dilan Selvi, goes to… Leyla and Ken. Runner-Ups were: Jasmine & Nico & Rangi & Efe (though they walked away with a round of applause with no prize attached).
A dance-off is held where everyone showed there best moves.
As the votes for the dance off were being tallied and a slow song put on, several residents took this as their opportunity to slip out.
INSIDE GROUP
Those left inside discovered they were all trapped. The dark magic seals on the door seem to be block anyone from leaving (even from magical means like i.e. teleporting). The signal on everyone's phones are out. They're too deep into the Aquarium to be able to alert anyone telepathically and even if they tried, the runes would likely block that too.
Note of apple fill the air and it dulls only the supernaturals in the room's senses and block out their supernatural abilities.
Bri Rivas and Kaye James, two resurrecteds who have broken their bonds with their witches begin to feel light headed. As a reminder, resurrecteds are kept alive by the witch who brought them back's magic. Bri & Kaye severed the bond with their witch and now need external magic to live.
The characters in the inside were: Dilan & Jake, Bri & Ben, Efe, Leyla & Ken, Devrim & Savannah, Aaliyah & Nyra, Song, Todd & Rio, Cat & Linden, Ralph & Ernie, Kaye, Frankie & Safiye, Billie & Bexley and Reese and Will.
Prom Royalty has been announced as Ralph and Ernie. They are quickly ushered up onto the stage before anyone can panic. Only as they step onto the stage, a bucket of blood is spilled on them alla Carrie from Prom. It was a prank one Ernie Jackson had set up before the chaos had begun.
Safiye instant reacted to the blood and tried to get to the stage until Linden grabbed her. Which resulted in him getting bit with her human teeth a number of times.
Jake called a meeting of all the witches - which Linden skipped and Jake noted "they could be weird together, LATER."
After that Linden pushed Safiye towards the stage where there was blood and she ended up rolling/playing in it.
The couples are still trying to find a way out. But, while people are distracted by other things, one by one, the humans in the room discover that a note has been slipped into their pockets. They read the notes without anyone else noticing.
They each were told in the note the name of a person who would get hurt if they did not play along.
Ben decided to inject himself with the syringe to protect Bri. He did so without anyone looking.
Efe decided to inject himself with the syringe to protect Reese. He did so without anyone looking.
Devrim decided to inject himself with the syringe to protect his daughter Serra. He did so without anyone looking.
Todd decided to inject himself with the syringe to protect Leyla. He did so without anyone looking.
Frankie decided to inject herself with the syringe to protect Jake. She did so without anyone looking.
Jake collapses to their knees gripping onto their head that has been suddenly overwhelmed with voices, getting hurt by Frankie anyhow. Frankie has injected herself with a temporary dose of audible inundation.
Efe's body begins to tingle as if buzzing or moving at a frequency far faster than anyone else, before he zips across the room. It seems he has developed super speed that rivals that of the vampires, only he too is unable to control it.
Devrim hulls over feeling funny. He momentarily thinks he might be sick, but then suddenly it is as if a weight is lifted off his shoulder and he feels more free than ever before. When he opens his eyes, he is starring at his own face looking back at him. He has temporarily duplicated himself. Only the duplications don't merely stop at one. Another Dev appears. Then another, until he finds himself staring back at 10 different Devrims. He had developed the temporary ability of duplication.
Song can feel his temperament rising causing storm clouds begin to form along the ceiling of the room before a lighting bolt comes crashing down, frying the buffet table to a crisp. Song has temporarily developed the ability of weather modification, but similar to the others has no way of controlling it.
Todd, with his rush of power, is met with a splitting headache. He heels over clutching his head. Only for his eyes to widen and the pain along his temples to dissipate as a table goes crashing against the glass of the aquarium. The aquarium glass chips from the blow. He has developed telekinesis with no way to control it. Tables and chairs begin to stir from Todd's newfound ability.
Ben feels stronger than ever before. He has developed the new found ability of super strength that rivals that of a werewolf with no way to control it. Only as he takes a step back from the chaos and nearly walks into a table, he tries to grip onto to steady himself, but the table splits in half.
Ken discovered he was in the hell that was 10 Devrim's.
One of the Devrim's was flung across the room and into the tank.
The tank was broken! The room is now slowly beginning to flood with water.
Bexley was hit in the hand with a lighting bolt from Song's storm.
Cat was hit with a lighting bold from the storm as well.
Dilan tried to climb up on a table, but it flipped over and she landed back in the water. She was also hit by a table from Todd.
Nyra tried to calm down Song as Rio suggested knocking him out. Which he used a gust of wind to knock her off the table and back into the water.
A shark bit Safiye in the arm.
Rio struggled under water because of her dress until Dilan helped her get out of it and was rescued by Nyra and Savannah.
Efe was bit by a shark in the leg and pulled him under.
Will poked the shark that bit Efe in the eye.
Savannah and Will both saved Efe from drowning.
Bexley's right hand was ate off by a shark.
Safiye once more is hungry for human blood and tries to attack Efe's leg, but a lightening bolt from Song knocks her off the table.
Safiye then bites Song on the arm on purpose.
Everyone gets off the tables and takes their last breaths.
OUTSIDE GROUP
Elif was one of the first to leave. A staff approached her when she was taking a breather along the backwall with a red rose and an envelope addressed to her in hand.
Those who chose to leave early are outside of the Aquarium in the cold February night air, only to be confronted by Damien Blake and his rival pack. As they try and reenter the doors cannot be opened.
He also is the werewolf who turned Kitty Hensley and was previously engaged to Elif.
Dhruv received a text that K Labs has been broken into and the three mysterious vials that were found with Meena and Dhruv are now missing.
Those on the outside are as follows- Jasmine & Nico, Meena & JC, Gia & Dhruv, Rangi, Ronnie & Elif, Aysun & Suresh, Poppy, Rohan & Jonah, Ignacio & Lara, Kitty & Tommy, Sun-Hee & Addie and Bea & Ana.
Ana and Bea taunted the wolves that were surrounding them. Eventually causing Ana to create a storm over one of the wolves.
Damien Blake challenges Nico Castillo to a fight.
Poppy gives Meena her fire magic and Meena lights wolves on fire.
Bea and Ana are attacked by the wolves they taunted causing the following injuries - Bea to get her leg scratched but she transferred it back to the wolf. Ana got bit by an Omega.
Cassandra protected Rae Elle by shifting into a wolf.
Suresh got wet from Ana's storm and his tail popped out.
Nico got a torn ear.
Lara refused to shift and punched Dick.
Suresh thought he was Poseidon and started throwing lightening at the wolves.
Gia was bit by an Omega causing hallucinations.
Nico got bit in the nose by Damien.
Jonah got scratched in the eye by a wolf.
The witches and vampires outside team up to take down the barrier.
Lara told JC how to injure the wolves and what their weaknesses were.
Aysun was taken down by a wolf, but saved by Suresh's singing abilities as a siren.
Ignacio gave Jonah luck.
Meena got clawed on the back of the ankle by a wolf.
Poppy's duplicate was clawed to death.
Meena was clawed in the side.
Rangi screamed at the wolves.
Jasmine did a dark magic spell and raised two fallen sailor skeletons to help fight the wolves.
Rohan was bit by a Beta and will turn on the next full moon.
The barrier around the Aquarium has been siphoned and the people were rescued by Sun-Hee, Meena, Ignacio, Song, Will, Savannah.
Todd who is now on the cusp of death was saved by Jasmine because Poppy showed her how to break the bond and transfer it to herself. On the full moon every month moving forward, Jas' magic will go to perserving Todd and maintaining his life who will now be linked to her, so for one day every month, Jas will be essentially human, still possessing magic, but unable to draw from it without the risk of killing Todd again as her magic will go to perserving Todd's life.
Kitty's neck was snapped by Damien.
Nico has won the fight and Damien Blake is also now dead.
Most of the werewolves from Damien's pack that are still alive flee off into the night.
Safiye pushed Frankie down and when Frankie cut her arm Safiye attacked her until Meena snapped her neck.
Jasmine never wears pink. She typically rarely if ever wears a color that is not black and on the few occasions she has, she had primarily stuck to blues. But, she of course realized she needed a dress last minute and when she showed up at Blush Boutique there weren't very many options left and all of them were in Valentine's Day colors. Kaye ended up talking her into the pink number that was inspired off of Marilyn Monroe. She like the cut, it was just the color that she wasn't sure of. A sentiment that almost stopped her from going to the dance entirely if Nico hadn't convinced her to make an appearance.
Hi loves! We can't believe that we are able to say Happy Three Year Anniversary Lunar Cove! We are so thankful for each and every one of you who have been part of this wonderful and chaotic journey with us. It truly has been such an honor to write with all of you and we still have so much good stuff in store! This year, we are fully in the swing of the story arc we are calling 'Season 2' (which we can honestly say is even better than season 1). Our new big bad might put the Lunar Covians through the wringer, but until then, we're kicking off this third year strong with a fun-filled Rodeo.
We thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts. We've made so many incredible friends from this group, would be nothing without you and are so happy we are celebrating this milestone. We look forward more years to come and in honor of our anniversary, we’ve decided to continue our tradition and giving you all some clues as to what you may see down the line. Enjoy our third prophecy of the rp and we can’t wait to hear all of your theories as to what you might think it may mean.

Who am I?
Leyla never wears black, but given how much Ken seemed to like her in it the first time, she decided to give it a try again. Swinging by Rio's, the two girl's decided to trade closets. She borrowed a skimpy black dress that looked like Marilyn Monroe's iconic Little Black Dress and Rio borrow a blue dress from hers.
Savannah would wear a blue chiffon dress that is skin tight and fits her like a glove. It's a vintage dress that Vanessa told her belonged to her past self. She didn't know if she'd feel comfortable wearing a dress from her past life, but Serra loved it and insisted that she had to wear it, so pushing down the faint glimpse of a memory she recalled when she slipped it on, she tossed a sheer blue shawl over her shoulders reminiscent of Grace Kelly's look from To Catch a Thief and headed out for the night.
