Hi loves! We decided to update our rules. We've now upped the limit of characters to 8 and have changed our activity rules-

This only affects players with 3 or more characters, but moving forward, we've decided that for players with 3 or more characters, any characters over 2 (aka 3+) must post at least 3 replies per character to 2 different players (i.e. if you play 8 characters, to be active you need to post at least 2 replies each per two characters and 3 replies each per on all of your other characters).

As a reminder, Activity is counted through written interactions (i.e. gif chats, paras, texts etc. on either platform). Social media posts, photos, music posts and other inspo posts don't count.Also, texts only count as one of your two activity posts for the week (i.e. if you start a text thread, that can count as one of the two required posts to meet activity, but you're still going to need to post a IC in person thread either on Tumblr or Discord to meet the replies in 7 days rule).

You can apply for a new character a week after your last character/a week after getting off hiatus

hi! just wondering how you feel about using pro wrestlers as fcs if they have enough resources? they don't fit any of the categories on the banned list, but I wanted to check anyway!

Hi! We appreciate you checking! It would depend on the fc. While some pro wrestlers could be okay, we generally prefer and mostly allow fcs who also have acting roles. If you'd be comfortable coming off anon and letting us know which fc you had in mind, we'd be more than happy to take a look and give you a more specific answer.

just curious - in what ways are you a hybrid rp?

Hi love! This is a great question! We're entirely a Hybrid RP. We post announcements both on Tumblr & Discord. Players, after joining, can select which platform they'd prefer to write on, though most of our players like to write using a combo of both. As long as our members are meeting activity and following the rules, they can write with whichever platform they choose. We feel this gives our members a lot of freedom and flexibility to explore the benefits of each platform, while also still being able to stick to their comfort zone if there is a platform they prefer or are more used to. Most of every post, plot drop, etc. can be written and reacted to across whichever platform you'd like, and if you're only familiar with one platform and not the other, have no fear! We're more than happy to help you.

Calling all Lunar Covians - it’s the full moon tonight! This full moon marks the Buck Moon, and during the full moon, it is best to stay inside. Phones around town will be going off at sunset to urge all residents to either get inside or head to their designated areas. Werewolves will need to shift during the full moon (though any pack wolves can head to Echo Acres, where the woods will be theirs to shift freely). Sirens will need to sing (though any fae court members can head to the Fae HQ to be able to swim freely and sing to their hearts’ content in the enclosed pools). Banshees will be on high alert for any werewolf/supernatural attacks and will be more prone to sleepwalking than normal. Dark Magic Witches & Vampires can use this time to perform heightened dark magic (aka blood bending) if they so choose (any Clan members can head to Clan HQ to practice). Some individual residents are also affected by the full moon. Aaliyah Rose will be shifting into a black cat-like form during the day, and Nyra Odeyer will need to kill (see more individual-specific side effects details here). This is not an event, so you are not required to participate, but if you choose to, we will be using the tag lunarcovefullmoon for threads or any inspo. Please keep in mind that any major plots do need to be approved by the admins, including rogue supernatural attacks. Happy Full Moon!

Your mother has never called you an accident, even though you know that's what happened. The result of a one night stand not long after she first moved to Lunar Cove, Donna Kim, on top of everything else in her life, had you. It wasn't at all planned, but you've never felt unloved. You grew up surrounded by magic, and, when you came of age, you and your mother both realized that you were just as magical as this place. You took after your father instead, though he wasn't really a part of your life. Not being human gave you freedom that your mom wasn't entitled to, and you've spent the last few years in San Francisco staying with your aunt and/or grandparents, careful to keep the secret of what is going on back home. However, after Donna was voted in as Coalition leader in early 2026, you have decided to come back to your home town, with whatever that may bring.

Donna Kim: Donna is your mother. Perhaps your relationship has grown a little distant over the years, especially with you being away, or perhaps you have always remained close. However, you've always been aware of just how much she  cares for you, even if she spent a lot of time being busy while you were growing up. It's hard being a single mom, especially being one in a new town, with a new job, while attempting to always strive for greater. Donna was loving and supportive, even if she wasn't able to come to all of your sporting events, and even if she pushed you to be as successful as possible. She'll be glad when you're back in town.
