/ no matter how tall you are... there's always someone out there... taller than u... sigh... /silly
i actually forget how intimidating kokushibo can be. but tbh i thought he was way taller in the manga. maybe it was to represent how scared genya was of him?
@lunarshrine asked:
Happy Valentine’s Day. 🍫
"i don't want any of your chocolates! get out of here with that shit!" he threw the chocolate that was handed to him back at the damn demons head.
to the fullest disclosure i could possibly admit ... that is me down there. @lunarshrine
akari tried her best not to wince and to concentrate on her breathing; one wrong breath, and her blood from her wounds would open up, and she would be bleeding all over the place. moon breathing. it was something she had never seen or heard of before, yet the damage was worse than any other breathing she'd seen. the pain of keeping her blood in her body was ten times worse than it normally would be. how many attacks could he throw at her before the pain itself becomes unbearable?
' how many people have cowered in fear before you? ' akari won't let upper one see how badly she's hurting. she won't give him the satisfaction. ' muzan kibutsuji must have been truly desperate to appoint you to upper one. '
@lunarshrine liked for a starter.
At that image you reposted.
careful now. it bites, hard.
@lunarshrine
Night pressed heavily against the trees, thick with the scent of iron and damp earth, as Bankotsu rested Banryū across his shoulder as though it weighed nothing at all, though the blade was broader than most men’s torsos and twice as unforgiving. The forest had gone too quiet with no insects or distant owls. Even the wind seemed reluctant to move, which meant that something interesting was nearby. Bankotsu had always enjoyed the silence before bloodshed because it felt like a held breath, the world pausing in anticipation of him. A faint crunch of gravel echoed ahead, which caused him to tilt his head, boyish features softening into something deceptively harmless. “Oi,” he called lazily into the dark. “If you’re going to stalk me, at least show yourself. It’s rude otherwise.”
Moonlight spilled down like pale judgment, and from it stepped a figure so tall he seemed carved from the night itself. Six eyes opened in perfect symmetry, glinting crimson beneath long strands of dark hair. Veins like fractured marble traced across his pale skin as a sword rested at the demon’s side. The former slayer’s grin widened as he noticed the markings in the creature’s eyes, Upper Moon 1.
“Well now,” he murmured, shifting Banryū down from his shoulder, the blade’s tip biting lightly into the soil. “Now this is a pleasant surprise to meet a legend tonight.” The human male rolled his shoulders, excitement warming his veins. “You’re strong,” he said plainly, almost cheerfully. “I like that.”
you wanna talk about loyalty? (KNY verse).

𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐔𝐏𝐎𝐍 𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐃, a reluctant breath slipped free as the only immediate answer to the other’s question — a rhetorical one, no doubt, imposed by that unwavering, ancient persistence. Loyalty, by outward perception, seemed like a laughably human concept upheld by beings who had long renounced their humanity... and yet, she felt its weight pressing upon her shoulders, threatening to crush her at the slightest act of neglect.
The faint flutter of half-lowered lashes betrayed her initial falter, yet she forced herself into a measured nod. ❝ If you wish. ❞ Biting her own tongue to prevent the sound of uncertainty from sneaking into her tone, Sayuri urged herself to a straightened posture: her shoulders squared beneath Upper One’s quiet scrutiny. ❝ If my loyalty is being questioned… then whoever has done so is mistaken. ❞
