finally drew what my defernull AU designs for the fun gang are! more details about them under the cut

so, how do you 'fellify' the fun gang? Here's my take on it:

Ralsei turns into a complete nihilist, with no regard whatsoever for the player's interest in the game. truly believes that the best ending for all of them is if the player stops playing completely. Is Kris's edgy vent drawing from when they were a kid, and that reflects on his demeanor, prefers to keep the hat on because it makes him look 'cool' until Susie calls him out on how silly that is, and he ends up takin it off.

Kris's take is entirely dependent on the theory that Kris is the vessel. in my AU, Kris doesn't fully know who they are as a person yet, still resembling the vessel that the player once created. However, they have relentless hope that maybe, with the help of the player, they can change the outcome of the prophecy. This hope gets crushed over time as they see the prophecy rings true with each event they experience, unless the player is getting all recruits.

Susie is a bratty girlie, type of girl that would tattle on you to mess with you, is a huge stickler to the rules and sees the prophecy at first as a rule book to follow. it takes Ralsei doing something that's not explicitly written in the prophecy [joining lancer's side in chapter 1] for Susie to realize that the prophecy isn't going to be a perfect play-by-play, and that they all still have agency.
