if we continue to follow ‘a system’ and modalities that we were never nurtured towards, if we continue to elevate only non-African men, people and ideologies onto plinths, glorifying systems put in place to diminish and undermine our own knowledge systems, we will never really prosper because our bones were never formed to be a part of this formula
