She’ll never admit to anyone what her first thoughts are when she recognizes his face —         ( Rough hands turned soft in the dim light of a motel room. Fingernails dragging over bare skin. A heated whisper against her throat: “I don’t even know your name.” Her breath warm on his ear when she laughs: “Keep wondering.” )                  — or that the idea she might actually have a stalker comes to mind after the fact. 

       “Have you been following me?” One hand moves instinctively to her hip as she angles her body, holding up the other. “Because I carry a gun now and my aim is a solid C-plus.”

She closes her eyes as he grabs her, and keeps them closed for a good long moment. This was stupid, she was stupid, what had she expected? When she did finally manage to look at him, she was grateful, maybe for the first time, that only one person could kill her, because that smile nearly managed it. Her body takes over for a moment, and she almost starts to lean into him. But she stops short, and her free hand rests on top of his, not quite pulling him off yet, but thinking about it. “Hello.”

     “You come to manhandle the goods again there, mister wants to play cowboy, or you going to actually buy a girl a drink first this time around?”  A toss of her head as she turned her attention towards the stranger, or close enough to count, that had taken so many liberties with -- she still couldn’t quite get over the name -- Peacemaker last time their paths had crossed.  Of course, this time, Wyatt’s gun was tucked away, secure enough anyways, in her boot, half strapped in to keep it from wandering off into someone else’s hands, seeing as how it seemed to be sporting the number one spot of things wanted by the Revenants.  Right next to her head on a platter, anyways.
