Day 100, April 14th, 2017
Today’s final happy moment was my first rugby game!!! I was SO nervous and knew I would cry and not know where to be but everyone was so supportive and Jade was right next to me telling me really nicely where to be (I love her so much) and I even scores 2 Trys!!! I also made kind of a big tackle like I was the last resort before a Mt. Holyoke person would make a Try! But I stopped it! I did sprain my ankle in the beginning of the first half when I made that tackle but I didn't feel it cause of Adrenaline so I played the rest of the game and had so much fun!! What an amazing day!! I found my people on this rugby team!
Day 99, April 13, 2017
Today’s happy moment was Hafsah giving me an eraser after having lost my other one that I depend heavily. Hafsah and I became close this semester and she’s so weird but I love hanging out with her/doing math with her! (oh, a note, these days are no longer in order but I wanna squish in important people/things)
Day 98, April 12, 2017
Enough said. I love my stt sisters.
Day 94, April 8, 2017
Today’s happy moment of the day was waking up early to go birdwatching with Smith people! Meg Kikkiri organized it with a professor! I was so excited and had a good time! Got a lifelist bird of a pine warbler and learned that it sounds a lot like a chipping sparrow! This picture is a bunch of people looking at a pileated woodpecker we saw.
Day 93, April 7, 2017
Today’s happy moment was this message I got from Shishi after I expressed my fears/concerns about being thrown into my first ever rugby game and not feeling prepared/feeling scared about getting injured/not knowing what to do. When I saw the endless typing bubbles after I sent the message, I was afraid I had offended Shishi or something, but was surprised by this AMAZINGLY nice response. Shishi is amazing, supportive, and the best B-side captain ever. I appreciate them so so so much
Day 91, April 5, 2017
Today’s happy moment was receiving Libby’s bday present in the mail today! I’m so excited to give it to her!
