why yes, 3:30am sounds like a great time to suddenly need to cough out my entire body, but maybe lining my throat with a freddo will ease the discomfort.

After making my previous post about the Ides of March I was suddenly stricken by a mysterious lurgy. It truly was a portent of doom. I should have bewared. Feeling a bit better now though :)
The problem with being mentally ill for too many years is that sometimes you wake up and think 'oh I'm too sick to work' and then have to be the adult and be like 'you will feel better if you do it' and 9/10 times it's right.
Anyway I learned today that it actually doesn't work with other forms of illness and that is why I cried twice in a ten minute call because my brain didn't work anymore.
*sick goblin noises*
a mere scratchy throat has turned into tonsillitis & a chest infection… i feel so full of lurgy it’s uncomfortable…
Sonofabitch. I spent just 3 hours with the inlaws yesterday, and now I have the lurgy. Jury is out as to what kind of lurgy, cold or flu as it could be either at this point.
Immune system did well to hold out as long as it has this year.
The flu demon has hit.
I need a blue cushion for my blanket fort.
