Tell me about Lucien, your JWCC OC!! How does she meet Darius? What's their story? :)

Hihi! You can find more about Lucien in the #Lucien Hawthorne tag (as well as on the acc @anarch4ngel where I rb any posts about him) but for a basic rundown, Lu was one of the campers with the n6(n7 in this universe) he was initially very quiet (as in- completely, he has selective mutism and did not speak until Ben came back after "dying") but ever since the beginning, he and Darius bonded over their love of dinos. Lu's father was one of the scientists at JW (though had to leave after Lu's mother and brother passed to properly take care of him and his little sister) so Lu had always been interested in them (and even got some of the "secret" scoops about them from his dad, which Darius was very interested in).

Overtime on the island, as Lu opened up more, he got closer with Darius, both of them still geeking out over dinos tgt, as well as having the same priorities of keeping them safe while they could. Darius always admired Lu's growth, seeing him go from this closed off, terrified, and depressed little boy to a more open and determined boy (he's still little though, 4'10" to be exact, he gets his major growth spurt after they're back on the mainland) while Lu always loved seeing how passionate Darius was about the things and people he loves, even when times got tough.

On a more unfortunate note, Darius also went through the same grief as Lu, seeing his father's health deteriorate, so he helps Lu with that, especially with Lu's fear of getting back to the mainland and his father having passed while he was gone. When they do get back and Lu's father does pass, Darius is one of the first to reach out because he's been there and he knows how much having someone who's been there looking out for you helps.

I haven't fully developed how they get together just yet, as my main focus is Luciben, but I do have a fanon where Paleolovers(Lu+Ben+Darius) are all in a poly that I've def gotta fully get tgt 😭
