if we’re talking about death, flor’s never come close to truly experiencing grief, so she would really have no idea what to do with herself. the closest thing to it was the death of her father, and she had not even been born yet. knowing her, though, it would have her crying for days, possibly tucked away in her mother’s room for something like a week, then possibly a close friend’s place, such as rafael’s. basically she would seek comfort in other loved ones. bar the first few days, she would not want to be alone at all. it’s only after this initial process that he would entertain the idea of therapy/professional counsel and slowly try and go back to the routine of her day to day life. she would be still sore and exhausted, but she’d try not to let it get in the way. she’d also cuddle her dog a lot.

definitely the latter, although it’s not like he takes a long time to do anything at all. he’s just never in a rush and prefers to patiently work on things rather than half ass them. this applies to his work and pretty much all his standard obligations. if he has a deadline of some sort that he has to keep in mind, however, he will turn in his work on time. you just won’t catch him actively rushing or hurrying, even if he’s working quickly he will remain calm.

red doesn't really care about the "law" especially since many laws are put up explicitly to fuck with people like him, with black people, brown people, poor people, etc -- and because even outside of that, many laws get in the way of him successfully doing his job. so it's not really about the law when it comes to where he draws lines, so much as it's general morals and principles. if you're hurting someone or doing something harmful to someone that hasn't done anything to you or that is otherwise defenseless then indeed, he won't like you. if you steal from people that don't have much, then he won't like you. not cause there's laws against that, but because you're being an asshole.

his reasoning is basically the same. sometimes laws just get in the way of what actually must be done or has to be done.
