1. book you’ve reread the most times?
It’s either The Book Thief (Markus Zusak) or The Night Circus (Erin Morgenstern). Actually now that I think about it, maybe A Tale of Two Cities (Charles Dickens). It’s hard to tell, I don’t keep track and haven’t in years
3. what is your favourite genre?
Definitely fantasy, though that genre is so big I should probably narrow it down some lmao. Classic Tolkien-flavored fantasy is always good, though there’s also a bunch of interesting things from like, paperback 90s fantasy publications I really love. Also!!! Heists!!!!!! I love a good heist <3
4. what sections of a bookstore do you browse?
The aforementioned fantasy section, though I’ll also dip into the science and history bits as well
11. what non-fiction books do you like if any?
Anything with a focus on anthropology, whether that be the genetic component breaking down how humanity altered and was altered by our environment to become the predominant species across the literal Entire Globe, or the historical and cultural components that tie together overarching themes and motifs found across all human cultures, all across the world! Waow I love anthropology :D
12. did you enjoy any compulsory high school readings?
Yeah! To Kill a Mockingbird was my favorite book for a minute there, and I really liked when we analyzed Hamlet for my senior year AP Literature class
20. what are things you look for in a book?
Characters, if it’s fiction. A compelling character will get me to sit through most of the worst plot ever put to page, even if said character isn’t always the best executed. An interesting world will also really intrigue me no matter what, I LOVE picking apart fictional worlds and doing worldbuilding stuff :D
