What up y'all I'm back from the void after being nearly scammed out of all my money cause I was stupid for a minute. Held out for six months before I fell back to keep reading @bonus-links comic because I can't get enough of it.

Anyways, I've got some other news! Screenwriting projects are done but the only application I could apply for rn had me have to be out of school-which I'm not- and in live action which isn't a huge deal breaker, but I'd prefer animated for my two shows.

BUT! Lusters and Shadows is reaching the end and I have a very strong hope that I can publish in a few months or so so keep an eye out for that announcement!

So for those who have kept up with the regrettably little I've really mentioned about my book, Lusters and Shadows, I have a character named Roshanara who is Muslim, however she was raised in an orphanage so all she knows is through what she's read at this point.

My big question at the moment is her new mum, Zelda, makes her clothes, but as a Magickal doesn't use normal fabrics, she herself mostly wears clothes from flower petals and most pillows and blankets and such are made of the same things. Zelda makes most of Rosha's clothes out of crushed pearl satin, but I'm wondering if anyone who knows more that what I've googled if this could be considered haram. Also any general tips about writing a character like Rosha would be helpful!

Just remembered the only review I've had on my book, from a friend from rowing. Five stars and called Leo Tolstoy an orangutan in comparison to my writing.

I'm very flattered, even after it got taken down for kinda obvious reasons.

Took a quiz to see what wands LAS Mcs, plus Roshanara would use, especially in HL for Zelda and Archer.

Technically speaking, Zelda has a wand already, that doubles as a dagger/sword. But since Faery silver isn't an option in the Harry Potter universe, oh well.
