not really sure if this is that embarrassing but once I was in a record store with my friend Demi. I had been looking for the Keith Emerson album Honky for a long time, and had heard that the store had it, but had yet to find it. Anyways I'm on the opposite site of the store from Demi and she calls my name. I look over and she has the album and I SHRIEKED. I'm sure the employees gave me some funny looks and Demi thought it was hilarious because she'd never heard someone make a noise like that.

at my record store before i worked there all the dudes who worked there identified me as "the one with the crush on rick wakeman" (i have a distinct memory of one of the guys giving me a vintage copy of Creem and telling me in a hushed voice "the wake man is shirtless in there")
