The reason I jump on here to defend Lukola is because some of these whack theories that people have mean that Luke and Nic are not nice people. Half of these theories have Lukola conjuring up their entire PR ruse just to fool people because they have some extreme privacy kink that no other celeb in the history of celebs has ever felt necessary to handle this whack way, or that they would allow themselves to be controlled by a studio who they don't even work for exclusively like they are in old Hollywood, just for money. Or that they are using this to separate to get other roles meanwhile pushing away an entire fanbase. No, just no.
I'm sorry I do believe in humanity and I don't believe they would put themselves through this or their fans if they had a choice. I think Luke got himself into a situation by letting Antonia into his friend group and that she knows way too much about his private life and hot boy summer that makes him look like a cheater or f-boy. That can follow you for a long time, for years. Just look at Adam Levine and Hugh Jackman. They're still getting hate years after their cheating scandals and they are established in the industry. This is from the last few days.
Luke had a right to want to protect his image not because it was necessarily true but because how A could have spun it and a possible paper trail that she had, photos and texts and such. It was particularly important at the end of the S3 press tour when ratings were at risk and Nic was pregnant. Imagine trying to navigate your first trimester in the limelight being very sick and trying to film a movie. Justine Lupe was 5 months pregnant before she let everyone know on "Nobody Wants This" because she was afraid of what everyone would think about her ability to do the job. Yes fear of discrimination still exists.
I do think it was only supposed to go through the ratings period as Nic and Luke were hinting very heavily that they are together toward the end of 2024 and Nic has brand deals lined up that seemed to be Mom focused. Then I think that A pulled an uno reverso and claimed that she was bullied and didn't get the publicity she was promised and here we are. Already into 2026 with them trying to make up for anything that made her look stupid or ruined her image. I know that she did it to herself but that could be her point of view, and her parents.
