For the haunted au I had an devilish little thought. Has Optimus ever had a really bad time and when the primes try to give him advice he just shouts "you guy's FAILED!" Like for all their wisdom they couldn't beat the quintisons or see Sentinels betrayal coming?

He feels bad but in his spark he wishes HE didn't have to do what THEY couldn't.

absolutely evil thought that was inflicted upon me months ago and that i finally get to inflict upon the rest of y'all OTL

i can see it happening with the caveat that he immediately regrets saying it. but it's too late. it's the kind of thing you say in the heat of the moment and then feel the ground drop under your feet because you never meant to say it out loud. but now it's out there and you can never unsay it.

it's just. a bad situation all around :(

I bet Roulette Izuku will eventually become like a speedrunner. After a while he kind of falls into a rhythm with the vestiges. If he performs this action, with this much intensity then he'll get this quirk... probably. He just runs around doing things that under normal circumstances don't make any sense, but within his very specific situation, do.

Izuku: My quirk is like a video game, if I get enough accomplishments I get a reward in the form of the new quirk therefore I need to do as many reckless and crazy actions to reach the next level

All this talk of endeavor is making me think really cool idea for bakugo be if he felt he didn't have choice to become a hero like his power was so inherently destructive that society would always force him essentially. It's just you can see it in my mind's eye you know it's talking to Aizawa and he's just like "I had two choices when my quark came in. I could be the next endeavor or I could be the next muscular! So I told the world to go to hell, I'm going to be the next All Might."

I thought I made a post a while ago, but I couldn't find it so maybe it was on discord, but I do think that is Bakugou had so much as been born and raised in a different city he might have have treated very differently growing up.

He's from Mustatafu, where Endeavor lives and works. That sort of proximity has an effect. If he has lived in a different town with different local heroes he might have been seen more as a threat, as someone who could slide either way but would certainly be on the extremes. Maybe there would have been an implied "or else" to the praise of him being a hero. It's not a compliment, it's a careful balance- it's his only choice, not because it's so grand and anything else is beneath him, but because if he doesn't he'll be a flight risk, too dangerous to trust anywhere.

On the flip side, if he'd been born in a city with just a bit more MLA influence he might have never gone to UA at all. Butterfly effect, it's crazy man

Hey you know how in spiderverse the spider sense like links them? Or identifies them I dont know, anyway what if that helps with communication. Like to them they are just talking but to everyone else they are just like sending glances or the occasional adjective and non spiders think it's so wierd how they can link up quips even if that other one just showed up and has no way of knowing that I triped on my shoelaces. I just love the spider sense!

I don’t know how it could be used to have complex conversations, but it is an additional sense and could be used to understand each other in an instinctual way. Like one spider-person could probably tell another one is anxious or frightened just by the way they’re holding themselves, if their spider sense is being tripped by something/one.

They understand each other in a primal way that other people just can’t. They’ve been through things the rest of the world just doesn’t understand. No wonder they immediately became so close to one another

Hey for your Isolation au I would imagine the Gotham rouges are like boogie men. Like sure lex luthor is an evil genius but he's never down anythings as bad as the joker! Flash reponds to a bank getting frozen thinking Snart is at it again only to realize Fries has wired everyone to instantly get frozen to death if he doesn't let him go. Like I just love the idea that ther is evil and then there's GOTHAM EVIL. You know?

I feel like Gotham rogues are both over and underestimated. On the one hand, no one has ever like dealt with them outside of Gotham so they can’t be THAT bad can they? But also they hear the rumors and see what’s reported on Gotham news sites and then it just spins out from there into weird games of telephone.

“I heard the Joker killed an entire stadium full of boy scouts and then turned them into clown zombies to unleash on Gotham.”

“Actually Aimee Lynn, he converted all the fish in Gotham into laughing fish and tried to patent them.”

“That…. doesn’t sound right.”

“Well that’s what my cousin who lives in Gotham said, was bitching about it last week.”

So I just blitzed through your bnha tag and the thing that stuck with me was the au where Inko helps All for one and all I could think of is Izuku in his high school years just asking over breakfast when they're going to let him help with the "family business". Pan over to flabbergasted faces of his parent's. Just smart boy Izuku is best Izuku.
