ANOTHER HAIR POLL

I just rewatched the entire show (again :D) and along the way I became very invested in the evolution of Casey's hair. So...

Season 1 has two main hairstyles: half up and a ponytail (top left and middle right). Sweet and simple. Also occasionally utilized a bun, braid, or accessory.

Season 2 has A LOT OF HAIRSTYLES, it's like they were determined to give her a new one every ep. They fall roughly into five categories (put into rows):

Clips/barrettes

Unconventional braids

Headbands

Low ponytails

Stylishly messy

I'm not sure if anything in particular defines this season, other than that the hairstyles are more complex (and sometimes experimental) than last season, and that the color will never be this dark again.

Season 3 is the season of curls; her hair is pretty much never straight. Again goes back to two main hairstyles: waves with a clip at the top (middle left), or two wavy low ponytails (top right corner). Also started using a side part a lot this season. Chopsticks in intricate buns were also pretty common.

Season 4 we go back to straight hair that is nearly long enough to sit on at this point. The blonde highlights that may have been around last season are much more noticeable now. Also features some really fancy curls and updos. (Casey was also clearly going through something this season bc almost every screenshot I got she managed to look distraught.)

And of course, Vacation with Derek and Life with Luca, in which Casey cuts her hair and is now a certified blonde (her hair is longer and usually curlier in LWL though.)
