He... could hardly believe it.
Seriously...? Someone like Saul certainly didn't strike him as a parental figure, not even in the very slightest.
Squinted eyes presented themselves as he observed her across from him, judgement very clearly poking through his otherwise coldened eyes. ''I..." he started, then fell abruptly short. What could he even say? It made his mind for sure reel, shock still attempting to dull itself.
He could feel the awkwardness clear within the air, as he didn't dare speak his mind, even though he felt like he so wanted to.
But.. he'd never hear the end of it from Saul and quite frankly, he was from being in the mood to deal with the lawyer's complaining.
"You're... Saul's... daughter."
Coldness came easy, perhaps too easy nowadays, to be laced within his tone as he decided to speak finally.
