JUNO SUAREZ: WAIT. AFTER TENDING TO THE RECEIVER'S INJURIES, SENDER TAKES A SEAT ACROSS FOR THEM, AND PATIENTLY WAITS FOR THEM TO START EXPLAINING WHAT HAPPENED. charlie feels as if parts of her body and mind aren't present in the room. like she's floating just outside of her body, mind clouded, memory fuzzy. she wasn't usually like this. even after intense cases like the one they had just finished, charlie could keep herself together well enough. maybe she had a concussion - it wouldn't surprise her, with the way the unsub had thrown her against that wall, her head bouncing off like a ball. eyes flutter a bit as juno tends to her shallow wounds. an emt could have easily taken care of her, but juno insisted on the after care, and no one seemed as if they wanted to shoulder her wrath if they intervened. once there was no more blood on charlie's forehead or under her nose, juno leaned back, piling all the soiled supplies together before eyes land expectantly on charlie. where with most, charlie would avert eye contact for her own comfort, she's able to meet the other's without much shame. 'if you're waiting for me to say i fucked up, i did,' charlie finally murmurs, leaning back in her seat with a sigh. 'i should have been paying more attention, and he got away. surprised i even still have a job, right now,' @suarcz.

AARON HOTCHNER: YOU'RE NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. god, charlie wished she could decipher whether that was a good thing or a bad thing. sometimes, the superior's tone didn't elude to one or the other, and charlie couldn't decide on the true meaning behind his words. was she not what he expected because she was good at her job? or was she not what he had expected because he had heard so many bad things about her that his expectations were low? either way, brows furrow a bit as charlie glances at hotch, trying and failing to read the expression on his features. 'i'm usually not, sir,' is the only response she has, hoping he doesn't take it the wrong way. @b4didea.
