20. Name someone who’s failed you. What did they do wrong? How do you feel about them now?
“i guess when félix broke up with me out of the blue, maybe. i mean, i understand why he did it now. i wish that he hadn’t, though. i wish he had trusted me not to run away, but . . . things are better now. i’m not gonna hold it against him. he’s still my friend and my roommate.”

13. Name a time you failed something and disappointed many people and/or embarrassed yourself.
“hm, let’s see. this could be a long list. when i got to hogwarts and found out i wasn’t very skilled with magic, when i barely scraped by on my owls, when my parents expected me to become a death eater, when i blundered my big quidditch match . . . need i go on?”
your opinion on sirius and james "pranking" other students
“i mean, at the time, i thought it was funny. we were kids, you know? for the most part, i still think a lot of their pranks hold up. i’m not saying some of them deserved it, but i’m not not saying that. sometimes they could go too far, though, so i guess that’s where the problem is.”

11. Have you ever been abandoned? Why do you think you were left behind?
“When I got my Hogwarts letter, my mother was so proud. But my father and my sisters... even Gwen, who had gotten her letter the same day as mine... They all seemed... distant. My father was always more cautious around me. It felt like he thought I was dangerous, even as a child. I’ll never forget how upset he got when I almost hurt Gwen, even though it was an accident. Though it was never a physical abandonment, it was an emotional one, and I think that made it all the worse.”

> 🍇 : how would my muse describe their childhood? how much has it impacted the person they are now, or will become as an adult? around what age did they or will they start to mature, and why? do they wish to go back to their days as a child, or have they embraced adulthood?
Barty would say that he barely had a childhood. As the only child of the esteemed Barty Crouch Sr., Barty had huge shoes to fill. And his dad constantly reminded him of it. Ever since he was just a little boy. While the boy never had to work around the house due to fact that the Crouches have their own house-elf, Barty was still rarely allowed to play with all the lessons he had to take with his tutors. He tried his best never to get in trouble too, knowing that if he did, he’ll just find himself on the opposite of his father’s wand, being forced to do his wishes whether the child liked it or not.
That’s exactly why Barty was as rigid as he is now. He tries his best to please his superiors in a way that he was never able to with his own father. He likes to think of himself as mature but Barty was never allowed to be a child and on some days it shows.
Barty would never want to go back to childhood. He absolutely had a horrid one and he has no intentions of reliving it. So much so that he doesn’t even want to bring forth a child into this world only for them to have a childhood like his.

Just as the Quidditch match neared its end, the sky above startened to darken with clouds. Soon, the heavy droplets started pouring from the sky and fell on onlookers and players alike. But that doesn’t mean the game needed to end. Come hell or high water, Quidditch matches continued until one team emerges victorious by catching the seeker. For that day, the team happened to be Hufflepuff which filled Amos with joy for two reasons. One, because it filled him with house pride, particularly for his fellow Quidditch members. And two, because that meant Lucius Malfoy, that smug arse, personally let down not just his team, but his entire house.
After the game, Amos hurried to the nearest lavatory to dry off only to be met by a shirtless Lucius who definitely looked pissed at their lost. Even if Amos hated the man’s guts, he couldn’t help but appreciate the man’s features. With his scowl, he looked like an angry Eros, ready to shoot lead arrows to his enemy’s one true love. Amos only let his eyes linger on the other man’s body for a second before he forced his face to scrunch in disgust. “Please, Malfoy, none of us wanted to see that in here.” He announced his presence by breaking the silence.
👀 + when did you first fall in love with mia?
“That question would imply firstly that I’ve fallen in love with her. Sure, I love her, she’s my best friend. I’ve known that since the first day we met, on the train,” Noah chuckled, shrugging his shoulders. “There will always be love there.”
“Year six. Mia never went home on holidays, but I would always offer for her to come over mine. My parents weren’t home, it was the first time in a while they’d gone on a holiday of their own. I guess they thought we were old enough to be trusted. We drank a lot, more than we should have, raided my parents’ liquor cabinet. We were so sloshed... Anyway, we couldn’t think straight, stayed up past midnight talking, laughing... I can’t remember how exactly it happened, whether I kissed her, or she kissed me. Maybe it was a mutual thing. But it happened, and we played it off, but I think that’s what started it.”
