She couldn't believe she was actually going back. Hogwarts... with out Harry... or Ron... or Dumbledore. It just didn't seem right. Ginny looked around the train platform. For the first time in her memory it wasn't teaming with excited students, the few people boarding the train looked downtrodden. She should have been out there with them looking for a way to set things straight but she was too young. She had been too young to go through what she had in the chamber but some how she had survived that hadn't she. She was stuck going through the motions, both hoping and not hoping to hear any news of Harry Ron and Hermione. She missed them all, Merlin, she really did miss her brother.  

Ginny sighed and reluctantly pulled her trunk on to the train. Too many compartments were empty, How many students wouldn't be coming back this year? How many muggleborns wouldn't get the chance to come back at all? She held her chin high as she passed a small group of Slytherins.  Even they looked grey in light of everything that had happened that summer. One intentionally bumped into Ginny as she passed. "Where is your boyfriend at, Weasley?" The girl sneered but Ginny didn't say anything. He wasn't her boyfriend anymore, He thought it was better that they split before he left. She had tried to argue but Harry didn't give her a choice in the matter. So they were broken up, it didn't mean she missed him any less.

Wearily , she slipped into one of the empty compartments and stored her things for the long train ride. Once things were settled Ginny sat with her chin in her hand and looked out the window at nothing. Her mind wandered, as she waited to go back to Hogwarts.

Anything but Herbology | Neville & Hermione

"Waste of time," Hermione muttered as she pushed the eighth book away from her. She picked up another heavy looking one with a thick cover and slammed it on the table in front of her. The library had been quiet that day. Had been, until Hermione showed up.  She'd been sitting there since morning attempting to find the right plant that her essay was to be about.

"I don't know what plant causes hysteria after you eat its leaves. That is precisely what I am trying to figure out." She continued to grumble. All of the books she'd been looking through were giving Hermione absolutely no answers. The essay was do in just a week! She had hardly any time left. As she flipped through the thick covered book, her questions continued to go unanswered, none of the pages telling her anything about what she needed to know. With a loud groan of frustration, Hermione slammed yet another book shut, and grabbed one of the many she'd had stacked up on the table next to her.
