LAVENDER PUNK I CHOOSE YOU!
OOOHHH I do love this one a lot,,,
Lavender Punk started out as an idea that I’d been toying around with where the main character was written in the first person, and so I wouldn’t have to use pronouns.
It’s still moving around in my mind - whether it should be a small animated series with the style of a dating sim (except it definitely is not a dating sim); a video game, a podcast (we’ll see) and finally a short story series.
At the moment its a short story just so that I can get in down on paper, and its become a writing exercise where I can’t write with pronouns describing someone (e.g. no she, her, he, him, his, their, they, they’re, it, its, etc. - NOTHING)
It follows the main character Punk who has moved schools to a new school for other people who are magically inclined, while struggling with what happened before, missing friends, liking people, and a ghost who possesses the only necromancer who could have banished it.
It’s honestly a bit of cartoon fun, a little way to think about my own experiences. I also want to write something to spite a certain author and this accidentally fell into the magic school genre but it will probably change again.
