Me making my sfawtde au that somehow spiral down into discussion why KiY got defeated despite having infinite knowledge, along side into the rabbit whole of other writing regard to KiY/Hastur mythos (Chambers’, Bierce's, etc.)
Along side with so many worlds it’s mean there’s multiverse
So how tf a cosmic being that “should not exist because it is everything that exists” mess up like that. First thing I thought of that is Core!Frisk from UTMV since they are everywhere but also not at the same time. Core end up can’t stop whatever happen in multiverse which lead to Omega Timeline.
However, Core always seem to be CONSISTENT through out the AUs being made that have their character in it. So any could still be them. Which is not apply to how vastly different KiY is not just in the fandom but the whole fucking mythos from what I seeing so far.
So I think what I could do for my AU KiY (fuck it I still gonna call him Kyle here, I blame my friend), is him be omnipresent in strange way. He still have infinite knowledge, still have his ego and stagnate arrogance of him know it all bc he’s all knowing being that he don’t even think a second to frickin check how tf D3rlord got in. He still know all the possibilities, which mean in weird way, all AU can be canon but all of them are so different. And how can I explain him still KiY but also feel like he’s not (due to Wifies’ inspiration) What could be my solution?
Make the King is still KiY, but part of fracture of KiY across the timeline and universe. He see and semi experience all of that AU all at once. He is here but he also felt the past as him still king of Carcosa, him inside his own play, him in other King in Yellow mythos, and him as he is now and others the moment he stuck inside the game.
He is everything and know everything, he can be feel off due experience all of them at once. Which could explain why he see D3rlord as “nothing” despite Wifies say in all universe Derek will be at the front of the gate. Derek really is a grain of sand in the ocene that somehow stuck at the King’s feet. It’s just up to how my AU KiY going to views Derek since people write these two dynamic so differently every time XD
