y’all I keep writing ahead and I’m a slut for the instant gratification of posting as soon as I’m finished with something. there are ly scenes written that are so far away that I’m like 😭😭 please I just wanna post you now, how tf am I supposed to have this much restraint

but also, more close in, I’ve got basically all of ly41 written (tho I keep adding little bits and bobs to it while writing 40 and getting inspired) and 👀👀 im very hyped about it. I’m doing a new-to-me thing writing wise (*everybodys so creative*) and I’m so excited about how it’s going to progress the story differently and I’m lowkey just like ahhhh can 40 please just finish itself

(might get wild and post 41 like two days after 40, we’ll see)

just going to put it out there now that if you get an ao3 notification from me in the next hour, no you didn't!!! i'm fucking around with formatting and html because I *everybody's so creative-d* too close to the sun and now i'm trying to figure out how to format complex shit in html on ao3 and i know myself well enough to know there's an above average chance i hit post instead of preview

I’ve been flipping back and forth between ly 39 and 40 for two days, simultaneously writing two very, very different smut scenes and they’re both a fucking blast and serve dnp in very very different ways but wow the contrast… she is stark

hopping into your ask box yet again just to say THANK YOU FOR YOUR WORK!!! i love ly so so so so much and i see so much of myself in ly!dan (shoutout the phan who pointed out his unmedicated adhd that i totally thought was intentional on your part the whole time) and the conversations and the character growth and UGH i love them. i saved the new chapter for after my midterm because i knew it would be incredibly rewarding and it was. as always. i am so so grateful that just in time for me to reenter the phandom my favorite ficwriter of days past decided to reemerge as well. thanks kj :)

i would say a good 80% of my projection (including the unmedicated adhd) was unintentional the first go around 😂 literally just last night i discovered a new way in which i projected on ly!dan in the first 35. it's still not particularly intentional but i do like to think i'm at least self aware of what i'm doing now haha. i think in the new parts i was more aware of giving him the traits but didn't like consciously click that the total was in fact adding up to the sum of its parts until it was pointed out to me.

aww this was a good chapter to have for after a midterm! i'm glad it was a soft low stress one haha
