16 hour brisket fic is 100% another one-shot capitalizing on food over description and acts of service as a message for love. unlike the other wips i have posted, i don't have an actual wip for it but an outline, so i'm stealing the format you used when you answered my ask! xD

rumi gets REALLY into smoking meats

Mira: i promise our tower isn't on fire, please stop reporting a fire, my beloved girlfriend has been smoking meats for the past 10 hours

and it takes patience and it takes care and it takes trial and error before rumi gets it right

(just like loving them)

before she gets the perfect, pink smoke ring, before the charred spice bark envelopes the cut of meat evenly all around, and she finally gets it to where it falls apart under her bare hands, curling with steam, perfect and juicy and slathered with sauce

and how the first bite will never be for herself

i just binged the AU AU and wanted to come by and say oh my god. oh my GOD it's SO GOOD!!!!! like no exaggeration it's an absolute masterpiece, every part of it is perfect. every chapter had me going surely this can't get better AND THEN IT DID.

anyway it's one of the BEST fics i have ever had the pleasure of reading, i'm hooked and obsessed and telling everyone i know to check it out. absolutely brilliant, i am in utter awe of your writing
