I really appreciate that you try to include news and such from across the country, and just wanted to say that. But I was wondering if you maybe have any similar blog recommendations specifically about the Maritimes?

3. What is your Inquisitor’s worst memory?

For Lavellan (my 19yo rogue Seramance inquisitor), it was during the events of Inquisition itself, in the Fade. She couldn’t understand how Solas was so fascinated when every bone in her body felt wrong and out of place. It felt like an endless maze, and the Nightmare showed her horrible things- her parents dead, her brother dead, her clan dead. The advisors turning against her. When she got back, she felt as though she had lost the ability to tell what was real and what wasn’t. It took her a long time to recover, during which Cole, Leliana, Josephine, and Sera, for the most part, watched over her. Bull was especially worried but he stayed away, having had his own issues with the Fade. She refused healing magic for a while because she wasn’t ready to get up and face the world again. Solas talked her through the worst of it, and watched over her as she slept, doing his best to soothe her unease in the Fade. Eventually, she felt a lot better, but it would always remain one of the worst experiences of her life.

For Trev (28, rift mage) it’s when she was kicked out of her home when her magic publicly manifested. She had been able to hide it successfully up to a point, but in her early teens, in a rare outburst of emotion, she created elemental magic during an argument with her mother. She was a spare heir and elf-blooded (and in my canon, because it’s just fucking stupid the way it is in DA Canon, that’s visible). Her father didn’t like her much in the first place. She was a quiet, solemn kid and hardly endearing to someone who didn’t care about her. They were glad to get rid of her, and could easily blame the magic on her “lack of pedigree.” The family finally called the templars to deal with her, but she ran away and was left to fend for herself until a chain of events happened that led to her to Anders when he was with the Wardens, and later, the Mages Collective. though she was at the Ostwick circle when Anders blew up the Chantry. 

So her worst memory would be running away from home, with the sheer terror of a a child being alone and in an unknown world. She was nearly captured by different bounty hunters the templars employed many times, and it was a cold and lonely time, during which she learned to fend for herself.

Maric thinks Loghain is responsible. Loghain, no matter how much he loves Maric, thinks he is a human disaster.

Also, our food stamps system requires one to work 20 hours a week to receive benefits. :D So if you’re disabled and can’t work like me :D You can’t get food stamps. :D 

Also, in my state, literally the easiest way for me, a disabled person who needs to be on medication they can’t afford, in order to work, to get medicaid to get such medications, is to get pregnant. Because my state did not expand medicaid, and the only groups of adults who can get it are adults who are on disability (a program where you are literally told you /will/ be denied the first time), or to be pregnant.
