Is it just me or does Eli Baur seem to reallllly be tossing those drinks back on the regular?
Doesn’t that come with the territory of being a screenwriter? Broody artist and all of that crap.
Come back to me with something juicy.. Hasn’t he been seen helping sloppy broadway stars off of bars? Now that’s something i want to hear more about.

Closing his laptop, Eli spin around in his desk chair with a groan of frustration. Writer’s block was a bitch, especially when editors were breathing down his neck for the next screen rendition of a New York Time’s bestseller. This one wasn’t speaking to him. Another “feel good,” unrealistic, full-of-hokey-bullshit story. Why couldn’t anyone write something worth his time? “I’m done for the night.” He decided aloud, slapping his knees before rising to his full height. Desperately needing a drink, he grabbed his jacket and headed outside of his Brooklyn apartment to hail the first cab he could. When the yellow vehicle pulled up, he slid inside as another body did the same through the opposite side. Turning in confusion, Eli declared, “Uh, why don’t you try the next one?”
