I've posted a couple of these before but finished editing all of them. I'd been told a 50mm prime lens was *the buy once you have a decent camera set up but being used to zooms wasn't sure what it would offer me. Well turns out it offers amazingly crisp, sharp images and a fun type of photography having to think hard about how I wanted my shot framed rather than just twisting a dial. Developing a nice little collection of photos of Lydiard Park now. I've not really done loads of outdoor/landscape type stuff previously but my 50mm lens seems brill for it as it takes the scene in so well and once you change it from Black and White to Colour or vice versa it changes the whole look of things. So I doubt I will run out of different views of the park a while yet while I am out walking the dog. Anyone else loves it there? And who prefers B&w and who colour photos?
