I’ve recently been appointed to an absolute dream job - Slipper Tester for the most wonderful brand Bedroom Athletics! So every month I’ll be testing out a selection of gorgeous Bedroom Athletics Slippers, Lounge Wear and Homewares.
Maya - Borg Faux Fur Slipper Slider £25.00
If I was only allowed to say one thing about these Maya slippers it would be that they are a go to! Firstly they go with everything, and the button detail on the side reflects their quality and the care of attention to detail that has gone into their design.
Now I love it when fashion meets comfort and practicality, these Maya slippers are easy on/off slider design and have pretty much no-slip hard soles. Ideal if you just don’t have time to be taking slippers on and off when popping into the garden quickly, or having that natter over the fence with your favourite neighbour.
The foot-band is like magic, you forget it’s there, made of high quality faux sheepskin it seems to just mould to the top of your foot without feeling like it’s gripping at all or with any pressure. Great for when your feet are aching or feeling a bit sensitive.
Don’t make the mistake of thinking the non-furry inner sole on these will be less comfortable, the real suede lined inner soles of these Maya slippers are incredible. The foot beds are cushion moulded too, if there was such a thing as memory foam mattresses for your feet these would be it!
Agatha - Harris Tweed Slide £40.00
These are extremely fun while really channelling that high end look. The moment you see these Agatha slippers through the viewing window in their matching boxed packaging, you absolutely cannot wait to get a closer look and take in the timelessness of that Harris Tweed.
Quintessentially what slippers should be, you have the classic combination of Harris Tweed and sheepskin but reimagined for a look is totally today. The range of colour combinations with the unmistakably Harris Tweed fabric just pop and make you feel pretty fabulous when wearing these.
Now, rest assured reimagined classic style has not be traded for comfort here. These Agatha slippers are just about as comfy as it gets providing a bed of real Australian sheepskin for your feet. Sheepskin is known for it’s temperature regulating properties, warming in the winter and cooling in summer, so this makes these Agatha Harris Tweed Slides ideal for wearing any time of the year, and with or without socks.
The outer soles are firm so they are made to last and they are super convenient to wear, as they are ‘slider style’ you can just easily slip them on and off.

Mabel - Sheepskin 2-Strap Slipper Sandal Grey Leopard £50.00
Quite possibly the most exciting slippers around right now and this is the reason why. It’s so hard to find something a bit different for someone who likes things that are a bit different but doesn’t want to stand out too much.
As much as I love the idea I would never normally wear leopard print but grey leopard print is genius! These Mabel sandal slippers (love that they are are a hybrid between sandals and slippers too!) really make for a talking point but not so much that you become over conscious that you are wearing them. So if you never dared to wear leopard print here’s your chance.
These Mabel slipper sandals are also great for all temperatures especially as they are adjustable. This makes them the perfect transitional slippers not just because they are part slipper part sandal but the adjustable straps mean you can perfect their fit even if you’re wearing thick socks, thin socks, or no socks as it gets warmer.
The materials they are made of make them feel special and the moment you take them out of their matching boxed packaging (which makes them ideal as a well presented gift) you know you’ve got a very good quality pair of sandals or slippers, in fact both!
The real suede adjustable uppers feel just fabulous, and the real Australian sheepskin shearling inner soles make them extremely comfy and warm, but they are also very airy and quite cooling if you wear them without socks.
The hard outer-sole is super practical and again gives you that slipper to sandal flexibility, they feel really study too, you could definitely get away with wearing these Mabel slipper sandals to the shops!
Garland - Luxury Faux Fur Throw Mink £80.00
From the moment you see this Garland throw you just know you can’t wait to feel it. The minimal packaging lets you see exactly what luxury you’re about to experience.
The Garland throw is presented wonderfully, secured with a silky bow which when you untie it the throw just bursts out of.
Now you’re going to need to keep some time free here because once you’ve opened this throw you won’t want to stop touching it. It’s the softest faux fur ever, so warm and comfy and immediately like a magnet to my cats. The rule in my house is if anything ticks the boxes of warm, comfy and luxurious then as far my cats are concerned it’s theirs!
The Garland throw is very well made and with excellent materials. Everything has been thought of too as the underside is a real treat as well, lined with a gorgeously soft velvety type material, and I have to mention the beautiful soft mink colour goes with anything and even matched one of my cats!
Hayworth - Luxury Faux Fur Snow Leopard Cushion £40.00
There’s something special that truly captures the imagination when you say snow leopard so a faux fur snow leopard print cushion makes any room whimsical. Having seen it I couldn’t wait to get this Hayworth cushion out of its minimal packaging so I could feel it and get a really good look at the faux leopard print. It’s just soooooo pretty!
This a truly delicate way of adding the most decadent of animal prints into your decor. The black and white print with just a touch of dusky pink goes with many colour schemes, with the dusky pink being just enough to add a little vibrance or warmth to a dark corner.
The material feels fabulous, you’ll just want to cuddle up to this cushion (and I did) and relax, read a book or watch tv. It adds a dash of detail to a room but without adding drama. For a more intense look you could add a number of the Hayworth cushions to really put on a snow leopard show.
As there are so many rooms, settings and colour schemes this Hayworth can work in, it makes for a wonderful gift but you won’t want to give it away!
