When you click " add tags " or whatever the phrase is, the prior tags will appear as options to quickly click and add. You can ignore them and type your own tags if you like.
I just tested it out, and unfortunately it seems like if I don’t go through and delete them it leaves them on the post? It’s not a huge deal, though! I can just make sure I use the website instead!
