Lydiya’s brow furrowed in confusion and looked at the bracelet, then the woman and repeated that process for a moment before raising her brow. “What’s the catch, because trust me. My sticky little fingers want that bracelet for money purposes but the real question is, are you going to call the cops on me after I take it, or is this something that’s legit. I’m not down for a set up, lady.” Her brow raised with more of a serious tone as she narrowed one eye looking over the woman to see if there was anything that could be shady about it.
“Did you steal it?” She finally asked crossing her arms over her chest. “I’m not about the hot goods life unless I stole the hot goods.”

A laugh bubbled out of her lips and she gave a shake of her head. “If I wanted to call the cops, I’d find a better way to trap someone than handing them a bracelet in the middle of the street.” Eli’s eyebrow raised in a manor that said as if. Dropping her arm with the outstretched box she gave a quick shrug of her shoulders. People were so untrusting now a days, though, she couldn’t really blame them. She’d be skeptical of someone just handing something like that to her as well.
“Do you want a receipt? Because I don’t have one of those. It came from a man that I’d rather not have things from.” Which was all the brunette was willing to say about that. It wasn’t a subject she like revisiting. “So do you want it or not. I’m sure someone else will gladly take it if you don’t.”
