Let's step away from shows and movies for a sec, here's some comic focused qustions -
What tmnt comic versions do you enjoy? Is it more about story or art for you? What are you excited about or would like to see in upcoming comic iterations?
YESS Gimme comic questions!!! As a comic shop worker, I love this. My top favorite comic iterations are Mirage, Archie and IDW! IDW has been absolutely CRUSHING it since they've obtained the license, issues 1-100, bonkers. Amazing. Even all the mini issues have been a blast. I would read 400 more issues if Tom Waltz ever decided to focus on the ongoing again. I also been enjoying the Jason Aaron run a lot and has been a good change of pace, back to it's gritty roots again. I would LOVE to see Sophie Campbell return eventually too if she's up for it later down the line (But I'm SO ECSTASTIC for her Supergirl run! She's nailing it!) I've also been really enjoying the Last Ronin universe. I'm hopeful for the new generation of turtles and the stories they're going to tell with them to flesh them out more and hopefully form a fanbase of their own in due time. (Last Ronin III is going to be a TRUE test in my opinion for those characters, it's definitely going to be sink or swim, not to be too dramatic. But I AM grateful for them for venturing out with an ENTIRELY new cast of characters for this franchise.) I would BE...VERY EXCITED. I would go rabid even, if IDW ever considered to do a 2003 TMNT mini series (to test the waters for a ongoing - something similiar to saturday morning adventures! That book really took a life all on it's own) Also a Rise Of The TMNT series, especially if they did a future arc mini series to test the waters. I feel like that would REALLY sell like hot soup if they could pull that off with the original writing crew. (It's absolutely NO offense to the fandom tho, but support for comics is not NEARLY as strong as it is for a TV Series (understandably - listen, I loved the animation as well) and I would LOVE to see that attitude change because comic books as a story telling format deserves WAY more credit and appreciation.)
I think I’ve drawn 2k3 Splinter maybe, twice? And not been happy with either result xD BUT this time I think I cracked it!
Working on this rotted my teeth. Thanks @lydjachan !

In other news, we are very excited to share new art done by the amazing @shellsweet. Definitely recommend her as an artist. Very nice and wonderful to work with! As for the end product, well you can judge for yourself.
Eliza and Gwyn both came out absolutely amazing!! Momma ferret cuddles!!!

“You’re a terrible cook.” #23
This is for Fredgar and Cassandra!
#
“You’re a terrible cook,” Cassandra said, scrunching up her nose asshe tried to swallow the stew he had made for supper. Perhaps that was unkind. No, it was most certainly unkind.
Fredgar tilted his head as he stared into the campfire. They hadstopped at an Inquisition camp in Crestwood for the night. Tomorrow they wouldmeet up with Hawke and her contact. And Cassandra could admit to herself shewas nervous.
She had built up so many scenarios in her head about meeting Hawke forthe first time. Having delved into the woman’s past like she had, gaveCassandra certain expectation. Expectations no living person could ever meet.Yet at the same time, she desperately didn’t want to be disappointed tomorrow.
So apparently Cassandra decided to take it out on Fredgar. Fredgar, who had done nothing but offer to make supper while she cleaned her gear.Fredgar, who seemed to be flirting more and more often lately. Enough that soonshe might need to say something, lest hopes were raised. Hers or his, she couldnot say.
“A terrible cook, huh?” Fredgar repeated slowly. He looked down at hisbowl of stew and swirled his spoon around in the broth.
Raph’s accent is why I love him I love that tough Brooklyn attitude wuth a heart of gold 07 and 03 Raph are my favorites
You've got excellent taste! Of the two would definitely throw my hat in with 03' Raph. He has his brothers shells when the chips are down. Quick to explode but even quicker to defend.
Now 07' - I got you buddy, you were hurt. You acted out and lashed out. But even with one brother gone, you didn't have to nuke your relationships with the rest of the family. It'll get better, but you need to make it up to Mikey and Donnie.
Dats how I see it.
Humans are Weird - EVB
Aliens finally visit the death-world itself only to discover humans are about to encourage a Galaxy-wide tourist boom. __________________ Earth was off-limits. For all the many worlds and species found within and between them, this was a line held by all. Earth, and the humans that called it home, was just too dangerous and unpredictable. It didn’t stop the humans from spreading though. They found their way onto ships and spaceports. Treaties, codes of conduct, and guidebooks followed in their wake to help the civilizations they encountered to cope with their presence. In time, most came to view their oddities an acceptable trade-off to their durability, flexibility, and overall tenaciousness. All races could agree that humans were an asset to their ships and crew. But Earth itself was still off-limits. Oh, it wasn’t for lack of trying on the humans’ part. They were perpetually inviting their ship-mates to come to their home-world. Most often to indulge in one of the numerous and varied ‘holidays’ that most non-terrains gave up on trying to make sense of long ago. For most intelligent and civilized species, humans themselves were enough proof that no one should set foot, tentacle, or exoskeleton on the planet known as Earth. However, as with all reasonably agreed upon ideas, someone was bound to cross the line. It started simply enough. A new ruler from the Tralnex nebula, seeking to solidify their own position, and gain some interstellar bragging points, requested a visit. The Tralnexian was welcomed with open arms and treated to the very best of all that Earth had to offer in lavish locations, cultural experiences, and exquisite cuisine. Holo-ads of the trip could soon be seen everywhere, all proudly sponsored by the Earth Visitation Bureau. It was the scandal of the century. While normally such flamboyant occurrences tended to burn themselves out, there was soon a noticeable shift in inter-species relations. Humans were requesting in droves to serve on Tralnexian ships. Often declining more prestigious opportunities to wait for a position to become available on the most humble Tralnex freighter. Finally a Scrayackien captain, desperate to sign at least one human onto his crew before traveling through a particularly precarious pirate-infested galaxy asked. “What is it with you humans and your sudden fascination with the Tralnexians?” The human just shrugged, waving a newly sealed work contract towards their new Tralnex crewmates. “They just seem more, I dunno…” the human smiled with an amused glint in their eye, “…down to earth.” The EVB was inundated with requests within the hour.
