Ben:

Why I like them: Two words: REDEMPTION. ARC. Now, I love Ben as the main antagonist and I love him as Henry Gale, but I think the real depth of his character comes from his redemption arc STARTING with the death of Jacob because let's be honest after Alex he just goes on a revenge rampage that breaks my heart and all but is NOT redemption. Before that he was still my favorite character, but I think seeing him grow and end up as the #2 just solidifies it. ALSO HIS DYNAMIC WITH ALEX THOSE TWO WILL BE THE DEATH OF MY OH MY GOD

Why I don’t: Oh Ben. I love you, but murder is wrong. Genocide is wrong. Also his treatment of Juliet IS NOT OKAY

Favorite moment: Literally any moment with Alex. I have two very favorite moments, though one of them is the deleted scene between him and Alex where he tells her that he has a tumor on his spine. The other is his confrontation with Ilana in "Dr. Linus". We've seen Ben break down before, but it's the first time he does so in front of someone else. I ALSO HAVE A MILLION AND FIVE OTHER FAVORITE MOMENTS BUT IF I LISTED ALL OF THEM IT WOULD TAKE FOREVER.

Favorite line: Oh goodness. I have three. "Once you let your grief become anger it will never go away. I speak from experience." "If you mean time traveling bunnies, then yes" and in response to Jack asking how ben can read on Ajira 316, he replies "My mother taught me" WHICH IS A LIE GOD DAMMIT BEN! Also, bonus favorite line: "So yes, I lied. That's what I do."

Favorite outfit: His Dr. Linus getup because sweatervests

OTP: I don't ship him with anyone romantically

Favorite platonic relationship: ALEX ALEX ALEX, but also Hurley

Head Canon: A baby girl washes up on the island, post series and Ben ends up raising her and does a fine job, having learned from previous mistakes.

Unpopular opinion: I DON'T THINK BEN IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALEX'S DEATH I THINK NO MATTER WHAT BEN DID ALEX WOULD HAVE BEEN KILLED BECAUSE KEAMY WAS A BASTARD

A wish: THERE WOULD BE A SPIN OFF ABOUT HIM, HURLEY, AND WALT BEING IN CHARGE OF THE ISLAND

Why I like them: I love Juliet for so so many reasons. I love that she's self reliant and does what she can because it's what she needs to do to survive. Some might see that as selfish, but I don't. It's why it takes so long for the audience and the characters to learn to trust her. I love her snark and the way she holds so many of her emotions within her until moments of vulnerability. She's so well rounded and smart and badass. I LOVE JULIET!!

Why I don’t: THERE IS NO REASON JULIET IS BAE

Favorite moment: Oh goodness. I guess if I have to pick a favorite it's her and Sawyer's "awakening" scene in The End

Favorite line: "And you would stay with me forever if I let you, and that is why I will always love you. What we had, it was just for a little while, and just because we love each other, it doesn't mean that we're meant to be together. I mean, maybe we were never supposed to be together. So if Jack can make it that--that none of you ever come here, then he should [...] I... if I never meet you, then I never have to lose you."

Favorite outfit: I love her dress and her hair in The Other Woman first flashback I mean, WHAT A CUTIE!

OTP: SULIET IS LIFE

Favorite platonic relationship: I love the dynamic between her and Faraday. She's so kind and gentle with him, it's adorable and not explored nearly enough

Head Canon: She was pregnant when she died

Unpopular opinion: Ummm, I don't like Juliet x Jack? I think it was that they both didn't have what they wanted and so they used the other to feel something.

A wish: SHE WASN'T DEAD also that Sawyer eventually met Rachel and Julian and told them what happened to Juliet

How I feel about this character: Ben is literally my favorite male character of all time so to say that I love him might be a bit of an understatement.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: ... None? Don't shoot me. But it's true. I shipped him and Rousseau in the sideways verse the most and even that isn't much.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: ALEX/BEN FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER BECAUSE HE LOVED HIS DAUGHTER SO MUCH AND DKSJFHJKDSHFSDHF. After that probably Ben and Hurley because of reasons.

My unpopular opinion about this character: I honestly don't think Alex's death was his fault at all. No matter of his actions, she would have died and although he might blame himself, nothing he could have done would save her. The second he handed himself over (without a plan which he had later on), there is a 99.99999% Keamy would have just killed her anyway. And not just her, but EVERYONE ON THE ISLAND TOO. BECAUSE THOSE WERE HIS ORDERS.

One thing I wish had happened with this character in canon: I wish we could have seen his "awakening", also a little more of his transition from Dharmite (that is definitely not what initiative members are called but whatever man) to other.

Keamy

How I feel about this character: I hate his guts as a person, but I think he's a really interesting character.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Omar. Because fuck it, why not?

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Him and Lapidus? I don't know. He wasn't really a people person.

My unpopular opinion about this character: I have no idea what people's opinions on him in general are, but I guess that I freaking loved his death scene because WOW INTENSE AND BEN WOW

One thing I wish had happened with this character in canon: I wish he had been part of Ben's awakening.
