Best friend = twin flame
I heard something the other day that made me feel extremely appreciative that I'm so fortunate to have an amazing best friend. I hope I can keep being reliable and a good big sis!
I had a few other songs in mind (Stand by You by Rachel Platten, Crossing Field from SAO, Umbrella by Rihanna, or The Unknown by Juno Madeline), but this was the one that came up on my playlist. It also sort of highlights the fact that we collectively separate ourselves from the outside world at times--whether by a change of persona (because my bubbly personality will tone down significantly outside of work or around other peers), or we get absorbed in our own writing and art projects. Twin flame just feels so right to describe our relationship as opposed to simply best friends or sibling-like.
