Family Life
What is the day-to-day life of this family like?
Modern!Au ft.Arlecchino. Clervie, Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet mentioned
Arlecchino is around 27 years old, Lyney and Lynette are 19 years old, and Freminet is 17. Although, in reality, not even Arlecchino's companions know about her age because she acts as if she were older and even though she looks young, she has that energy of someone over 30.
Arlecchino is a businesswoman who belongs to the Fatui organization operating under the guise of an information and general business organization. Arlecchino operates under the facade of an International business company but although she does handle business, it is not exactly the cleanest possible.
This woman is intelligent and knows how to navigate legal loopholes so even if someone investigated too much, they would simply conclude that her businesses are strange but not illegal. Although Arlecchino is not above doing illegal business if it suits her.
She has taken in many orphaned children and runs an orphanage. It was there that she met Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet. She recognized the potential in the three of them and they became closer. The three of them are good older siblings to the younger children in the orphanage, and Lyney is a good older brother to Lynette and Freminet.
Arlecchino visits the orphanage whenever she can, but since she has work, she is not always available. That said, both she and Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet live separately. The three of them are at the orphanage more often to care for and entertain the children, but naturally, they return home afterward.
Clervie, who is Arlecchino's childhood friend, works at the orphanage and she stays there every day, constantly taking care of the children. Clervie is aware of Arlecchino's work and that the orphanage is part of the Fatui's business facade, but she doesn't interfere because she knows that Arlecchino is not a bad person and would never do or allow anything that would harm her children.
When Arlecchino is asked if the twins and Freminet are her children, she simply answers yes without going into details. She has many expectations for her children, especially for Lyney, but she doesn't become toxic because she knows that's counterproductive.
She gives her children quite a bit of freedom and told the twins they could move into the dorms when they entered university. They both refused since they wanted to stay home with her and Freminet, who is in his last year of high school.
She is very proud of the grades of the three of them, which are usually outstanding and she wouldn't expect less from them. Although at some point she hired a private tutor (Alhaitham) to give classes to Freminet, who was having difficulties with some subjects.
Arlecchino is often not home because she is traveling to take care of her business. She trusts that her children can handle themselves.
Although it may not seem like it, whenever she is home, she doesn't hesitate to go to school events or general events for her children. She can't always do it, but she does it when she has the opportunity.
People get very confused when her children call her "father."
