I'm finally back after exams. It's been an unpleasant week and on top of that, someone introduced me to a guy because the person who introduced us insisted he was my type, but he's not my type at all. We didn't even get anywhere during our conversation.
Whatever, I wrote this with my little knowledge about Burlesque so I hope it's at least decent (*´▽｀)ﾉﾉ. I tried to write this as neutrally as possible but a female reader is implied

Ronin is the type of person who knows a lot of things and this time was no exception. He was no stranger to what Burlesque is but he also hadn't had reason to pay attention to it until you came into his life. He didn't investigate obsessively, but he heard you talk about your work and he kept that information. Honestly, he encouraged you a lot to do what you liked and definitely supported anything that worked as empowerment and such. It's all that was good on Ronin's list.

They are the kind of comments you would hear every time you talked about what you did. Usually people heard the word "nudity" and almost immediately thought of porn and perversions so they judged you a lot
You didn't feel ashamed of what you were doing, it was something you liked to do and there was nothing wrong with it, but still the constant passive-aggressive comments did a bit of damage even if you tried to ignore them
"Darling, you should take the devil to that little personal heaven of yours"

It was exaggerated because Ronin always loved to tease you but usually he was the first to know when you would have shows and from time to time he could get an early look at what you would do, more than anything it's because even though your boyfriend was the biggest prankster idiot, he could give excellent criticism that helped you (something you refused to tell him even though he already knew)
She had seen a couple of Burlesque shows, she liked everything it meant and found it interesting. She wasn't exactly a fan, but if she had the opportunity, she would attend these events.
Angel had seen you on a show but it wasn't exactly a situation for you two to pay too much attention to each other. Once you joined the server and you two started to get closer, on a video call Angel recognized you

"Seriously?" For a moment you thought he had seen you on the street or something
"In a Burlesque show! I remember I found you beautiful"
You were a little surprised, but in the end you were glad because talking to Angel about your work was quite refreshing. Besides, Angel seemed genuinely interested in your work.
Whenever Angel had time and you had shows, you made sure to invite her. You were happy to see her at your shows and Angel always had something sweet to say to you
"Everything is so elegant and so well prepared" Angel was talking to you animatedly when you were finally alone

Angel understood what it was like to be under public criticism so she always helped you deal with it. That said, she knew how disgusting it was to be under the criticism of perverted men and she was always willing to do her beloved a favor and shoot a couple of people.
V tries to stay as informed as possible and he knew about burlesque but had never been to the shows, he knew the basic information and little more
He started asking you about your job as he was really interested in you and what you did. Every time you invited him to your shows, he made time to come see you since you had taken the time to invite him.
"What did you think, V?" You asked at the end of one of your shows.

V could definitely give excellent constructive feedback and in his excellent and polite way of speaking
"That's all V?" you smiled
He had trouble recognizing certain expressions and hints, but he had learned to recognize that smile.
"You looked beautiful" He smiled as he held your hands. You were excellent at what you did and he definitely appreciated that you wanted to invite him to your shows, he appreciated that you included him in this part of your life.
V did not allow anyone to want to shame you for your work. He considered it dignified work and would not allow anyone to humiliate you for it, but unlike the other two, V did not resort to violence unless strictly necessary; he always had firm arguments that silenced anyone.
Misaki didn't know anything until she saw a video on TikTok, but it was more like "oh, this exists" and she kept scrolling down her fyp
Then they met you and began to learn more and more about the world of burlesque. I couldn't lie, everything seemed truly incredible and to Misaki, you were more incredible, so "incredible + incredible = mega incredible", that was all of Misaki's logic and it worked for them

You joked and complimented each other at the same time and it worked for both of you.
Misaki couldn't always go to your shows because she was working, as well, poverty demanded that they keep working, but whenever Misaki could, she attended your shows with great enthusiasm, and it was no exaggeration to say that they are your biggest fan.
Misaki could appreciate the performative nudity and considered you 100% beautiful, but precisely because of that, Misaki would get nervous at your shows. They liked you a lot and couldn't help it.
