I'm wondering about exorcism now after reading your post bc I think I've somehow missed on that part in the anime...how did killua know that an exorcist wouldn't be able to heal gon and that only nanika would? bc he left to get her before even asking the association if they knew a nen exorcist (and they did) I don't know if it's a plot bump or if killua just didn't want to bother with the inconveniences of lifting a nen curse bc we don't know what happens to the beasts. what do you think?

hmmm good question......... my assumption was that killua knew off the bat from seeing what gon did and his horrifying transformation that no nen exorcist was going to be powerful enough to save him, it would require a literal miracle.

personally, based on the nen exorcist’s reaction to gon, i’m under the impression lifting the nen curse would’ve insta-killed anyone who tried, but that’s another assumption on my part. nen is so mysterious....

I'm gonna have to disagree because I don't think killua protecting gon from palm had anything to do with him thinking she's not strong, it's that palm was unstable and obsessive and well, pretty damn creepy. I think it's because killua knows well that she's very strong and that just makes her scarier and not at all safe to be around.

ohhh i think killua was well aware of how strong palm is, i think he like.... was just lying to himself/in denial to make it seem like he wasn’t just being a jealous stalker haha. but i think that’s a valid point too -- like he wasn’t just concerned about the chimera ants, he was also concerned about palm herself.

I thought I’d share this cute hxh fact from my country: the arabic hxh opening for 1999 is one of the most popular and loved anime openings of all time here in the middle east. the artist who sang it is syrian and even though it's been years & she’s long since performed plenty of other songs, people (mostly all adults) actually request the hxh opening in her own personal concerts around the world, and she always happily performs. the audience always sings along with her and it's truly beautiful.

okay so correct me if i'm wrong, but i always understood pansexuality like this: while bisexuals are attracted to two gender (or more, since people forget that bisexuals can also be attracted to non-binary people) still the Concept of the person's gender is, like, existent for a bisexual; it matters for me to know the person's pronouns, while pansexuals on the other hand will be like, "that person is hot" without needing to know anything more, is that it?

Yes, that’s basically what pansexuality is Lyra. I just always explained it to my straight friends that pansexuality is liking someone for who they are rather than their gender cuz it’s simpler way for them to understand. But yea, the way you explained it is exactly how I feel about my sexuality. Like my friend would show me this cute girl or boy and they’d ask me “Do you think she/he is good looking?”And I’d be like “yea.. she/he is super hot.” Then my friend is like “oh they’re trans btw.” So I’d go “???? Yea?? She/he is still hot, my dude..”Like I’d still respect their pronouns and everything but I just wouldn’t think they’re gender is what makes them hot.
