at first she thought it was just a rumor like any other. she had spent the better part of her afternoon bullying sebastian into asking blaine to be his prom date before another boy in the choir beat him to the punch, but when she hears it from rachel berry out of all people (who has been desperately trying to get her attention again and had now succeeded in the worst way possible), who assured her she had seen it with her very eyes, she makes reacquaintance with that very specific kind of anger. she finds quinn in the courtyard, sitting at their usual table, and while she’d usually wear a smile for her, she takes a seat with a solemn look in her eyes.  ❝ is it true? ❞ she’s not exactly being subtle, but she’s past subtlety at the moment.  ❝ is it true that he’s taking you to prom? ❞
