Okay. Do I have any followers that know Neon Genesis Evangelion very well (or at all)? I may have an issue with Lyriad and a similarity with NGE regarding how my mecha work. I need to know what is up souls and mecha in NGE very clearly, so that I can decide whether using ORBs to copilot my mecha has to be utterly scrapped or not. The Taste of the Universe
Sometimes the best sex is when both parties are so full of emotion that it escapes past their lips with each gasp. The entire act becomes a song of wet bodies and wet tongues and wet eyes, set to the beat of dry breath burning past your ear.
There grows to be a sense of desperation, a comprehension of the immediate impermanence of life, and suddenly there are teeth and nails sketching bloody masterpieces in the skin of the lovers, battle wounds that speak of ecstasy and hunger with every badge of red.
It is neither coincidence nor mistake that blood and metal and electricity all share the same flavor, and when you are screaming your lover’s name through entwined lips and teeth, you are doing so with the taste of the universe slick against your tongue.

I am still so mad that it took me two years to realize that whenever referring to Altarion's Fenri horns, which are in the shape of rams horns, I say Ari's horns, cause of course - he's usually Ari when I'm just talking, cause Altarion is so formal. So, Ari's horns.

This was never, ever intentional and it took me TWO YEARS and having it shoved in my face to realize it.
Like, I'm laughing, I'm not honestly mad, but oh my GOD how did I MISS that?!?!?!

I've been working on a new scene for Lyriad over the last day or so, which is exciting because when the flare hit its worst, I lost any real ability to make any sort of progress, even with notes.
What's exciting about the scene that I'm working on here is that it fills out a major gap in the story. It is a new scene, yes, but it needed to happen - and the way that it has been playing out in my mind has answered several major questions, and allowed me to see a few flaws (such as the Mevarae appearing 'normal', even though they're magically-created warriors who need to be able to fight anywhere - land, sea, or sky) that I've now been able to correct.

Me: *floored because it was unintentional and for a year I have failed to realize this*
I feel like anytime I need to research something for Ral and Ari, or for the Fenri in general, the information that I'm looking for must make it look like I'm a serial killer or something. It doesn't come into play in the story too often, but the Fenri are occasionally....somewhat extravagant in their killing methods. And now thanks to Ralith, I'll probably know the anatomies of humans and half of all the possible woodland creatures in the world by the end of this story.
The more you know, I suppose?
