oh that lyric program thing sounds really cool!! i have that issue too, genuinely cannot understand the lyrics until i read them, and i don't use spotify so i usually have to google the lyrics 😔
If you go on Github, there are many similar programs. I only realized this after starting but anyway.
Basically the idea is this: when you play a track, either locally or on spotify, the program searches the lyrics of the song online, display it in sync in the window and stores the new lyrics’ file in a local folder for later offline usage.
It should work on windows, macs and linux but I can’t test the other two environments yet. I am focusing on windows environment.
I might think about a mobile version in the future too.
