And not just because I really wanted to see what his updated design was in glorious HD, but the fact that he was shown to really care and have so much faith in Lysandre only for his old friend to go total annihilation mode on their whole region in XY. With the inclusion of L, it would have been interesting to see how Sycamore could have reacted to seeing him. Maybe how L is could be how his old friend used to be? Heck just seeing how he's doing after all this time after the events in XY in person would be nice.

Yes I know they bring up the fact he's traveling with one of the friend group in the game but still, if there was any game to show him and go on about his relationship with Lysandre it's this one.
