Today a coworker told me that every time he sees me in a meeting I seem happier than he's ever been in his life. While I definitely don't always feel that way, I'm not fronting in a big way at work, and it makes me really happy that I can bring joy to people. He also told me that I always appear to know exactly what I'm doing and why, and that he always trusts my hand on the wheel. That felt so good! Imposter syndrome, to hell with you!

what is it about reaper/gabriel reyes where we have to force the latino lover trope on him? he never once in canon ends his sentences i spanish? never shouts in spanglish? doesn't seem to have any real connection to latinx culture? maybe he grew up just black. or maybe raised by a white fam? there's more than one way to be an underrepresented minority than a bunch of sinco de mayo references and forced //porn/ tags often reserved for latinx actors. is it so shameful to be without that connection to culture? is it that shameful to be black? or a POC adoptee to a fam who doesn't share their child's race?
when did the writers in tv shows lose their imagination so decisively that the only plot twist they can manage is killing someone off the show
