James grinned as he picked Hahnna up, spinning her around. "Happy Valentine's, cute bean!" Setting her down, he kissed her on the forehead. "Get dressed up! We're going to dinner. Someplace real nice, I promise."

Hahnna giggled loudly, wrapping her arms around her boyfriend’s neck while he spun her around. She bounced a little on the balls of her feet as James set her down. Moving her hands down to his forearms, Hahnna looked up at her boyfriend with the brightest smile.

“Happy Valentine’s day sweetheart!” Hahnna beamed, a light blush dusting on her porcelain cheeks. The soft kiss to her forehead made her bounce a little more. “Really? Oh okay! I’ll be out in like 30 minutes, okay?”

James was grinning as he picked Hahnna up from behind, spinning her around before setting her back on her feet. "Happy birthday, sweetest! I got you stuff!" He gave her a soft peck on the cheek before handing over her presents. Wrapped up pretty well were a few gifts - a box of various bars of chocolate, some of them ready to eat and some of them luxury baking chocolate, along with other long-lasting baking ingredients; a professional cake decorating set, complete with a spinning cake stand; and a very pretty dress that had made James think of her the moment he saw it. And then there was the whole birthday cake on the counter, baked and decorated by Allie and Laura. "Have a wonderful day, sweetheart."

Hahnna blinked for a few moments, happy for being picked up and loved on but confused as to why. Birthday? Birthday! She had completely forgot about her own birthday. “It’s my birthday!” Hahnna giggled, nestling her head into the crook of his neck before he set her down. “Thank you so much, sweetie!” Hahnna beamed, standing on her tip toes to kiss his lips very sweetly and softly. Bouncing, Hahnna couldn’t believe that James went out of his way to get this much for her. Her cheeks began to burn a deep shade of red before reaching out for him to pick her up again. “I love you!”

James didn't know a lot about the troubled side of Hahnna's past, but he did know what a nightmare looked like. He'd seen his sister have far too many of those. Softly, he ran a hand through Hahnna's hair, just like his mum used to do for him. "Shhh... it's okay... you're okay..."

Hahnna lived for so long thinking her dreams with blurred faces were just that: dreams. She dreamed of a woman, who’s face was unrecognizable to her, being brutally killed in front of her, and Hahnna herself ending up extremely injured. It was so much easier to handle that nightmare when it was just that. A nightmare. Now the face was unblurred, and it was a memory. And that mysterious woman was her mother.

Hahnna hadn’t expected James to walk in during her late night meltdown. In fact, she hadn’t expected anyone to walk in at all. She was too busy crying to actually make any comments, just appreciating his presence for those few moments. Wiping her eyes with the back of her hand, Hahnna tried to speak but the tears forced only hiccups out of her. “I’m fine, I’m okay don’t-don’t worry about it.”

James' face flushed a bright red, before he turned to the rest of the room, glaring at his cousins. "Okay which one of you asshats set this up?" All he'd wanted was some of Hahnna's Christmas cupcakes. Not a damn snog.

Hahnna really didn't know what to do, she froze in her place, eyes wide like a deer in headlights. Her heart was beating so fast it was drowning out anything anyone else was saying. She wanted to scream but she felt like something was choking her, gripping her throat so tightly. Hahnna could feel the red hot blush encompassing her entire face, so much so she barely knew if her porcelain skin was visible anymore.

And people were laughing. Oh God people were laughing.

She tried pulling her shirt sleeves over her hands to no avail. Her whole body began to tremble and she couldnt take this any more. All Hahnna could let out was the smallest of whimpers before she ran out of the room, covering her face with her hands.

"I think those are Catholics," Hahnna commented, tilting her head to the side to stare at the crowd forming down the street. "I think they're headed to Mass. Its Sunday, right? If not, um, they might be in a cult."

"Okay, I'm being completely unironic here, but I can guarantee that I have seen the most dicks out of us," Mandy announced, smirking. "Dare to challenge me?"

Aiko sipped on her drink when the eyes in the room flocked to her. She just shrugged. “I really think you all underestimate the amount of women I’ve been with. Alex’s dick is the first one I’ve seen in years, okay?”

“That’s true,” Hahnna quietly piped up forcing a few of the other girls in the room to spit out their drink. 

“I sure as Hell haven’t, neither has Hahnna that I can guarantee,” Rie shrugged, Hahnna nodding along with her.

“I’ve seen equal amount coochie and dick, so I doubt it,” Lucy answered, to which Scarlet choked on her drink. 

“Did you really have to say it like that?” Scarlet coughed, thumping her chest to get the liquid out of her lungs. “And, nope, not me. Xavier’s my first boyfriend so... and if you don’t believe me ask Dimitri.” The only girl who didn’t say a word was Audrey, who’s face was in her hands. Aiko’s lips curled into a smirk. As much as Aiko loved her best friend, Audrey was definitely the team slut. Knowing a lot of the stories and implications of this question, Rie’s brows knotted together. 

“Okay, I see all the looks, I get it. I probably have! The notches in my belt are literally the entire belt stop stARING AT ME.” Audrey’s cheeks were exploded with a blush.

"Hey, um, Hahnna," Alex greeted awkwardly, slowly approaching her. "I was, um, wondering... could you, uh... teach me how to use sound? Not as, like, powers or anything! More like how to depend on it..." He held up a pair of glasses in his hand, blinking at her with wide, only partially seeing, eyes. "My glasses aren't strong enough anymore, and using sound to listen to surroundings isn't exactly Obed's area of expertise..."

Hahnna looked up with wide eyes. She knew that Aiko had been the one to pitch him this idea. Truth be told, Hahnna really didn’t know how to explain the use of echolocation without the reliance of her powers but she was willing to try. 

“Well, I’m not entirely sure how to explain it properly, but I’m more than willing to try and help!” Hahnna sent a small smile Alex’s way.

Despite their defiance, Hahnna and Ezra were definitely the ones who put Aleshias skeleton cat in the onesie. In their defense the cat looked super cute in it! It was black and it had little bats on it and it had a whole Halloween aesthetic.

"Okay but you cant tell me it doesnt look cute!" Ezra whined softly. For someone who was 6'4" and pure muscle he definitely was a child sometimes.
