wow this is such an emotional story that got my heart aching one too many times for the pair, as perfect as Jung Hoseok, the boy made out of sunshine and all things in life worth loving our beloved MC, on the other hand, is perfectly flawed, due to her bitter life she fell into a pit of darkness, she thought she was not deserving of any good thing in this life, it was the darkness that enveloped most of her life so who is she to accept a love so pure and colorful as the one Hoseok has to offer?

a lot of us had dark phases in our lives but hopefully, none of us had it as bad as MC, or if you did I hope you’re healing from it all and know you’re deserving to love, be loved, and be showered with all the good things this life has to offer, always remember things will get better. so speaking of her life that’s filled with misfortune, darkness, and penchant for running away from her problems and pushing people to maintain what she’s used to. I honestly felt bad for her and people like her, they’re so immersed into their messy life they think there’s no way out that only verbal, emotional, physical and other types of abuse are what they are bound to have in their lives, but what they fail to see is that despite the wreck that they have become, someday, someone will come into their lives and prove them that there’s always something good for each and every one of us.

ahhhh you don’t know how much this made me feel sad and guilty as I immersed into the story, to be loved by Hoseok as if you’re the most loveable, flawless, and perfect person in the world will make your heart beat fast but if you also get in touch with MC’s feelings you’ll hate yourself for pushing someone who’s always been there for you and will always be there for you no matter what, she’s a work in progress and was very lucky to have found Hoseok when things were shitty for him, he made her feel things foreign to her, he made her realize things even if she’s not accepting all of his love in one go, sigh, Hoseok is everything one could ask for in a guy, he goes out of his way to find her even if he risks his sanity, he does everything to fight for and prove that being in a relationship with MC is everything that makes him happy and that’s all he needs in life, no career, no money, no one could take her place in his heart, and if you have someone like him in your life, I suggest you try your best to fight your demons because they won’t ever leave you because they can be much more stubborn than you, that’s how love is, they’ll help you heal and be the best version of yourselves no matter how long it takes. 

this is just a beautiful angsty story that will make you realize things, you may not have an equally bad and messy life like MC but you have to admit you push people away because you fear that you’ll make things worse for them or you don’t deserve them but it’s time to stop thinking of those things, we are all deserving and if someone shows you how much they love you the way Hoseok did (even milder or grander) accept it and let things happen the way they’re supposed to happen (but also don’t forget to be vigilant and guard your hearts always because you’ll never know someone’s intentions right away *that’s my cautious placements talking lol*) | 🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒

I am putting this on top of my favorite Hoseok stories, I ~ I don’t know how to put to words the way this masterpiece touched my heart, I am so in love with this, I’m always mesmerized with stories that have less than 5k word count and yet the author manages to pack everything in and make the reader feel things, I laughed because of Nayeon and her perseverance to set-up MC on a date with the whipped Jungkook, I sympathized with MC because of the stressful stuff she’s dealing with, my heart fluttered when Hoseok showed up, I got butterflies in my stomach reading the brief history of their love story, my heart dropped to the ground when I learned the reason why they decided to end things and it was revived when she kissed him even if they were technically broken up for two years already... 

I’m so enamored with the way op writes, she knows how to tug people’s heartstrings because I’ve read so many comments of readers crying over this piece, also, I’m having problems crying these days and It’s frustrating but this effortlessly made my eyes overflow with tears of pain and joy, ughhh what I wouldn’t give to have this Hoseok in my life? he’s everything and more because even if they parted ways he’s always been there for her, taking care of her as if she still belongs to him, as if that day where they decided to separate never came, because it’s always been her and nobody ever took her place *oh fuck i’m crying again* god this is just beautiful and I sound like a broken record praising this over and over because it truly is.

a few lessons you’ll get from this is that exes can be good friends (because I don’t befriend my exes unless they go out of their way and I only have one ex that I’m friends with and it’s nice tbh), sometimes you just need to step back and let each other go to see where life takes you individually and as a pair if you get lucky and have another chance with each other, and the most obvious one is that you never forget the love you had for a person, if you ended in good/bad terms you’ll never forget it, new feelings will take over but when you reminisce you’ll always remember how you were with that ex even if it disgusts you lol jk~ 

anyways, i’m getting too noisy but I did my best to write only a teeny tiny bit of spoilers here and there (but then again my ramblings gave everything away ~ i think) so do yourself a favor and read this highly recommended masterpiece from obiwrites, and if you already read this I hope you cried as well!

The Gentlemen’s Club, wow the MC here is probably the character I relate to the most in all of the fics I have ever read in this fandom, this fic hit home, it was so easy to get lost and take over the role of MC, her life was so similar to mine I lost myself, my identity, the brightness I used to have and share with the people around me all because of a boy who never knew how to treat a woman, relationships are a two way street you cannot just give and give until you’re an empty vessel, always save some for yourself - that’s what I should’ve told myself years ago. As painful as it was to remember while reading - this addressed concerns such as self-esteem and mental health issues, how to deal with a break-up that left you broken or damaged, how to open up again and embrace the opportunity to start anew and not be a brat and shut it off. this masterpiece gave hope in the form of the Dominant Gentleman Jung Hoseok, the idea of a gentlemen’s club is exciting, to be honest, but same with MC I wouldn’t dare try it out, she was lucky to have T though, she was an angel for introducing the site, because of this particular adventure T made her sign up for, things changed for the better, she started becoming herself again, loving and embracing every bit of her without holding back - not totally her old self tho but a better one.

Well, how do I start this without spoiling everything here? I was looking forward to straight-up smut with all the warnings/additional tags included I was like yeah sure I would love to read how the author would write all kinks included especially tantric sex, it may not be the filthy smut I was expecting but damn I was lost for words while reading each scenario and how the kink interactions took place, I say it was tastefully written and gives justice to the title of their club. I love how Tantric Sex and Voyeurism helped her get into her element (take note of a few tips coming from the boys), then came Roleplaying and she just let go of herself and didn’t give a single care in the world as long as she has Hoseok with her, followed by Dom/Sub interactions which is probably my favorite, hitting two birds with one stone and the Sensory Deprivation with a few things here and there just read all of it so you’ll have yourself lost in it as well (*sigh* everything is just rushing back to me, If I don’t hold back I might spill everything! + the other tags I won’t talk about much because it’s better to dive into it than just dipping your feet by reading my ramblings) + Author wasn’t kidding when she placed that gratuitous smut tag there! Now let me roll into a huge fluffball by saying the romance in here is what every woman would want, though she’s technically a client, things have blossomed between the pair, and their dom/sub dynamic is also applicable in other situations, and I do agree the doms do get empowered by their subs, they won’t have power/control unless you submit, now, I’m telling you to prepare yourself for all the romance laced in this fic, you will be smiling and feeling all the ways Hoseok spoiled her also helped her move forward in life and start to be herself again, in return, she unknowingly helped him as well and made him learn to let go and love again, he’s the best y’all I’m not even exaggerating, if someone does that to me, I’ll ask them to marry me lol (jk I’m not that clingy and interested in marriages - yet - unless you’re Hoseok) oof spilling a little bit of my favorite - it was when he went out for a few days that I will never forget, if a man shows much effort and interest in you like that (but know his intentions first okay) give them a chance and if everything works well, maybe never let go? hmmm I think I’m now diabetic from all his sweet acts please, somebody give me metformin! Oh also look out for your heart because you’re in for a rollercoaster ride of emotions, the transition will be pleasant I promise you! *sigh* I just fell in love with this fic that’s what I really wanted to scream from the very beginning of this non-sense blabbering, I’m proud to not have spoil much of the great stuff here because the element of surprise is essential. anyway, idk what else to say without oversharing so I’ll cut it right here! P.S: Just learn to let go, stop torturing/blaming yourself for things you have no control over, life is too short to live under a rock, live your best life out there and who knows maybe one day you’ll get to meet the Jung Hoseok of your life who will give you everything without holding back, he will be all yours as you are his. | 🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒
