When Kwame read the text from Lennon, he immediately laughed. The mention of a sing-off meant that Lennon probably wasn’t all there at the moment. Either way, after a little bit more texting, Kwame caved to come through for this “sing off party.” Lenny was in fact probably the only person that could get Kwame to actually sing or make a fool of themself. A crush could do that. Kwame knocked at the door. “I brought, uh, waffles from the diner to eat between Lion King 1 and 2... or 1 and a half.”

As a being that moved at an exceedingly dull pace (mostly a fault of his own, let’s be real) Kwame preferred to spend time with others more his speed. Walking side by side with Mina, Kwame felt they were doing just that. “I have to say, though, playing truth or dare doesn’t give me the same exhilaration now that I’m back again, you know?” The zombie reincarnation was fairly new for Kwame, and they were still trying to work out what was the same and what was different.

“You should show him the juggling thing!” Kwame shouted to Twyla over the noise of the noise, pointing to the person who’d just walked in and sat next to him. They weren’t often impressed, but this cocktail juggling thing was something he believed everyone should see.
