Naiche enjoyed working in the deli. They felt productive when it was busy and were able to pop in a headphone when it wasn’t. In a pre-noon lull, Naiche was listening to music when one of their favorite guilty pleasures came on -- “Old Town Road.” They took a cursory glance around before allowing themselves to let loose, dancing and singing under their breath. The jingle of the door opening shocked them back to life (and embarrassment) as Naiche tried to gauge how much the person had seen from their painfully shy self. “How, uh, you didn’t... what do you need?”
Naiche glanced over Rory’s shoulder, trying to get a look at what their friend was doing exactly on the cell phone. “So do you basically have to live on your phone? Is that the requirement? Your soul and your gaze for some followers.” Naiche grinned, being a bit cheeky with that last statement.” @prcttyvxnom
"No, yea, um... sorry, what’d you say you do?” Naiche had never met an actual bounty hunter, and as someone on the run, they were feeling rather unsure about this interaction now.
