so how did everything go down?
FRIDAY put the house in lockdown after Beck got back, just like I told her to. I always thought he was crazy, but Tony’s got this system in place, so that I can override his commands, if I have to. His well-being used to be FRIDAY’s top priority, but he “made some adjustments” he said, and now his safety’s only fifth on the list...
I asked Mr. Barton to bring his wonder twins over to deal with him, after I left. I figured it’d be good having someone who could do illusions on our side too. And, uh- then I called Romanoff to help me on the rescue part of the mission because she’s stealthy, smart, and I don’t think anyone could trick her.

"You were the one who was teaching me to expect the unexpected." He teases her playfully as he looks down at her, leaning a little closer to whisper tauntingly. "You look good on your back." All was fair in love and war.. and training apparently, he was sure he'd only got the better of her due to speed and her not expecting him to pin her.

Pietro had just absolutely annihilated a bunch of kids in a snowball fight, they really didn't know what had hit them, it frankly had been hilarious, for him mostly but still, it was funny. Now lent back against a wall nearby he listens to the confused noises and laughter that soon follows, quickly followed by more flying snowballs. Looking up he spots someone looking at him and winks. "Shh."
