i just watched mj part 2;

quick summary: amazing movie, but my favorite scenes were cut out AND the important scenes were over far too quick, i wish it had been MORE dramatic.. I didn't cry until the scene with buttercup. But that's nitpicking, still an amazing movie and a good end of my favorite book trilogy.

Okay so after many years I finally finished reading Mockingjay

1. Katniss should be dead.

2. As far as I'm concerned, the epilogue doesn't exist.

3. THERE ARE NO WORDS FOR THOSE LAST CHAPTERS. KATNISS'S GRIEF. KATNISS ON FIRE. KATNISS REALLY REALIZING HUMANKIND IS ALL MONSTERS AND THERE IS NO HOPE. I wanted to die too tbh.

4. Katniss being used over and over and over again.

5. Gale yelling at Katniss, "Shoot me!" Please kill me too, Katniss. That was too much for me.

6. Coin coming up with the idea for a final Hunger Games. BITCH.

7. Why were fans SO MAD at Gale? Yes, he designed that bomb that killed Prim, but he didn't pull the trigger. From the way I saw everyone hating Gale and being so angry with him, I thought he literally threw a bomb at whatever location Prim was in. He did not do that. He HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH PRIM'S DEATH. You really think he would consciously kill Katniss's little sister after everything Katniss has done for her.  And how come no one was equally angry with Beetee? Also, Gale feels so bad about Prim, that he never spoke to Katniss again. Do you get that? He loved Katniss and he decided to NEVER SPEAK TO HER AGAIN.

8. From where I stopped reading, Peeta didn't really do much, but I will still never forgive him for how he attacked and treated Katniss. I understand that he was tortured and not in his right mind, but it doesn't change the fact that he tried to kill her. So with my strong dislike for Peeta, I suppose you could compare me to Gale-hating fans, because Gale very indirectly killed Prim and Peeta's mind was warped into making him want to kill Katniss. I dislike Peeta for other reasons too though.

9. The ending of The Hunger Games series is amazing. I'm in awe. In so much awe. And when I compare it to the ending of Divergent, DIVERGENT SPOILERS AHEAD Divergent leaves you with an uplifting feeling, like YOU can change the world because we are Tris. Tris is us. THG leaves you with the feeling that there is no hope for the world.
