They had noticed before, she had to stand on her tip toes, interesting how she did not lose her balance, probably something she was quite accustomed to doign at this point, nevertheless, as courtesy they leaned down, so at least she didn’t have to put too much effort.

“I am merely doing my job.” They did not want to shove the compliment aside, but they did speak the truth, they weren’t attempting to impress, yet at least.

“A lesson, I take?” A tilt of their head was given, slowly grasping at what she may be hinting at.

Were they bothered? Not at all! Were they confused? Well, just a little, they knew what the gesture was, what it meant for many people, even about 30 different dictionary definitions of the word ‘kiss’ and its more silly synonym ‘smooch’, they still hadn’t gotten a full understanding on how it felt, really.
